Our beloved Sayyid’s funeral is on this Sunday.
Even though I won’t be there in person, my heart will be there, mourning with those who loved him and whose lives he touched so deeply. The love I carry for him still brings tears to my eyes and words can never truly capture how much this man meant to us.
His son, Sayyid Muhammad Mahdi, spoke about his father’s funeral on Sunday. It won’t just be a farewell. It will be a covenant... a pledge to carry forward his legacy, to uphold the values he lived and sacrificed for.
Sunday will be a day of loyalty and love, a day of renewal and commitment to the path he paved for us. It’s a day to honour a life that stood firm against storms, a heart that bore burdens for our sake.
I may not be able to stand there physically, but my soul will be present, my prayers will join those of the mourners, and my heart will echo the words of loyalty: “Here I am at your service, O Sayyid.”
May his legacy live on through our love, loyalty, and steadfast commitment. Ameen.

“Iran is the Home of Resistance”
The Secretary-General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, in a meeting with the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, congratulated and offered condolences on the martyrdom of the great leaders of the resistance—Martyr Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Martyr Yahya Sinwar, and all the commanders of the resistance. He emphasized that the victories of the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon were achieved with the support and effective role of Iran.
Ziad Al-Nakhalah also described Iran’s direct involvement in confronting the Zionist regime during the Wa’d al-Sadiq 1 and 2 operations as a strategic and transformative development that has significantly boosted the morale of the people in the region. He declared, “Iran is the home of resistance.”
The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Sardar Baqeri (H), while welcoming Ziad Al-Nakhalah, stated:
“Despite the heavy losses suffered by the people of Gaza, the enemy failed to achieve any of its goals. The true victors in this battle are the Palestinian people and the resistance, and this victory will remain immortal in history.”
