A landmine was rigged with an electric detonator, connected to fine wires and a small receiver linked to a phone, waiting for the decisive moment for days. The instant the target stepped onto the point of death, the signal was sent, and the mine detonated—marking the end of one of Syria’s most notorious war criminals.

The target was the terrorist Ahmad Shoubak, known as “Abu Musab”, a commander in the suicide unit of Julani’s terrorist gangs.
