Maroun Al-Ras has been liberated, and the Israeli forces have withdrawn. However, during the ongoing Israeli occupation, IOF soldiers shot dead an unarmed Lebanese woman in Markaba.

In the brave Sunni town of Marwahin, locals have entered their village. Marwahin, which had been fully destroyed by the IOF during the war and the ceasefire, is now being reclaimed by its residents.

A Lebanese youth was killed this morning by Israeli occupation forces while attempting to return to his home village of Houla in southern Lebanon.

Despite Israeli occupation army directives prohibiting the return of displaced Lebanese, Lebanese citizens performed prayers on the ruins of a destroyed building in their village of Marwahin.

Hezbollah MP Hassan Fadlallah, in Bent Jbeil today, was asked by Al-Manar about why Hezbollah keeps giving the state more chances despite its failure to defend the people.

His response: “We have always called for the establishment of a strong, capable, and just state. This is not new. We will not stop calling for the establishment of this state when it fails to take advantage of these chances. No one should think that we make these statements because the Resistance is weak. I assure the people that their Resistance is fine and still very capable, but people cannot live in a country where the state has no authority, where there is no justice, and where there are groups that depend on external parties to attempt the abolition of others.”

Fadlallah further stated: “If the state wants to convince the people of the border region that it is the basis for protecting sovereignty and confronting the occupation, it must prove by all available means that it is worthy of stopping Israeli violations and attacks.”

He added: “The enemy is now shooting at people in Aitaroun and elsewhere. If one of the villagers shoots at the enemy to protect himself and his family because there is no protection, can anyone blame him or stop him?”
