In response to the brutal massacres committed by the terrorist group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham against innocent civilians in the rural areas of Homs, the coast, Hama, and Aleppo, the Mujahideen of the Syrian Popular Resistance carried out a series of qualitative operations targeting the leadership and members of the terrorist gangs, resulting in direct hits and heavy losses on their side.

Operation Targeting a Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham Checkpoint
On the morning of Wednesday, January 22, 2025, the Mujahideen of the Syrian Popular Resistance carried out a precise operation targeting a checkpoint belonging to the terrorist group Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham in the Latakia countryside. This operation resulted in the death and injury of more than six terrorist elements. The enemy acknowledged the deaths of terrorists “Ibrahim Abdulrahman Quris” and “Abu Hussein Al-Jundi,” both of whom had blood on their hands from the crimes against our people.

Assassination of Terrorist Leader “Ahmed Al-Wazir Abu Akr”
On the night of Saturday, January 25, 2025, our Mujahideen succeeded in assassinating the prominent terrorist leader in Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, known as Ahmed Al-Wazir Abu Akr, and wounding several of his terrorist elements in the vicinity of the Dabousia area.

Ambush Targeting a Military Vehicle
On the same night, January 25, 2025, our Mujahideen carried out a well-planned ambush targeting a military vehicle belonging to Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham, leading to casualties among their ranks. The enemy confirmed the death of the terrorist “Mohammed Abdul Qader Khalil,” known as Abu Abdo Talbisa.

Intelligence Round in Damascus
As part of preparations for upcoming strikes, reconnaissance units of the resistance conducted a successful intelligence round in several areas of Damascus yesterday, gathering valuable target information, which will soon be targeted, God willing.

We confirm that these operations are part of what has been declared, and in fact, they are “the shadow of what is hidden.” What has been planned is far greater, and what is coming will be even more painful for those who have dared to oppress our proud people.

We also affirm our continued escalation as long as the enemy continues its crimes, particularly after the barbaric campaign carried out by Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham today, targeting multiple areas using low-flying helicopters to terrorize defenseless civilians, a scene that reflects their deep hatred and repeated failures to impose their control.

We, the Syrian Popular Resistance, declare our responsibility for these operations and renew our pledge to our people that we will not retreat or relent until every inch of our land is liberated and dignity and security are restored to the free people of Syria.
