🇸🇾 Breaking | Fahel massacre of Shia in Syria remained undocumented by many who claim themselves pro-opressed:
On January 23, 2025, terrorists of Julani stormed the villages of Maryamin and Fahil in the western Homs countryside, committing a horrific field execution of 13 civilians and arresting 53 others, whose fates remain unknown amidst fears of further killings. The attackers also targeted the religious beliefs of the residents, subjecting local youth to brutal assaults.
In a climate of terror and panic, the bodies of the victims were left at the scene for hours, with residents only able to retrieve them after a prolonged and painful wait. This heinous act against unarmed civilians reflects systematic sectarian and ethnic violence, carried out under the guise of pursuing the “remnants of the defunct regime.” The massacre occurred amid a media blackout, internet outage, and the absence of justice, heightening fears for civil peace in the region.

🇱🇧 Report | Al-Manar TV in Today’s News Introduction Advocates for People to Return to Their Towns Tomorrow:
Words for the Ages from the introduction of the main news bulletin on Al-Manar TV:
“We are returning tomorrow, with our heads held high and our fists raised. Nothing can keep us away from the land where we have sown pieces of our hearts.
They will overcome the mines and suspicious objects left behind by the Zionist-American aggression, foiling its malicious projects and schemes.
With their very flesh and blood, they will write the dawn of a new liberation for a land ravaged by the enemy’s hatred, killing, and destruction—yet whose faith and determination remain unshaken. The land will bloom once more through its people, watered with the purest of blood.
From the holiest and most exalted martyr, Sayyid Hassan, to all the great leaders and martyrs—all of our martyrs are great.
The Southerners are returning after the completion of the sixty days outlined by the ceasefire agreement. Whoever violates it must bear the consequences.
The mediators must not align with the occupiers, who will hear the ululations of the women and the chants of the elders and youth—a scene reminiscent of the steadfastness of the year 2000, which echoes across generations.
It is the promised Sunday, the Southerners declare, along with the true sovereigns of Lebanon.
No amount of intimidation or glorification of the occupation’s power and decisions will deter them.
With their very flesh, they will reach wherever they can, and if the enemy persists in its arrogance or foolishness, they will leave no means unused to achieve their goal.
Time is on their side, guarded by watchful eyes, an aware national army, and guided by the voices of the mosques’ calls and the churches’ bells.
They are returning, just as the heroes of Palestine returned today from the prisons of the occupier, breaking every bar and shattering decades-long sentences—a sight that declares: The people of the land endure, and the occupier’s dreams and ambitions will fade away.”
