🇵🇸 Report | The Hero of Khan Yunis, Abu Ramez Al-Farra, Freed After 21 Years:
Raif Al-Farra, the planner and executor of the Mahfouzah checkpoint bombing in the middle of the Strip and other operations, was arrested at the same checkpoint in late 2004. Initially, he pretended to be mute and impersonated his brother, Raafat “the mute,” carrying his ID due to their resemblance. However, as he was about to leave, his phone rang, leading to his identification by an agent brought in to confirm his identity as Raif Al-Farra.
He was sentenced to 6 life sentences, and during the court session in 2005, on the day Israel left Gaza, he declared:
“Today is the day of our victory because you left Gaza. I am not upset if you do not sentence me.”
In retaliation, the judge added 20 more years to his sentence.
In the Wafa al-Ahrar deal of 2012, his family was informed of his imminent release, but at the last moment, Israel refused. Raif called his family, saying:
“I missed the train, it’s not leaving, don’t prepare anything.”
Today, in 2025, after 21 years in prison, the train that Abu Ramez missed in 2012 finally takes him to freedom.

🇵🇸 Report | Ramallah Rises in Support of Resistance Amid Jenin Battle:
Amid the intense battle in Jenin Camp ongoing now, thousands of Palestinians in Ramallah are chanting for Hamas, Al-Qassam, and for the victory of resistance. Bursting crackers and chants fill the air as a wave of Eid al-Ahrar spreads everywhere, symbolizing solidarity on both fronts and hope for complete liberation from the river to the sea.
One of the released prisoners stated, “We are not a pressure card, but a winning card. We are part of the battle and we say to the resistance, ‘Take your time in the negotiations.’” Another released prisoner, speaking to Al-Mayadeen, expressed gratitude to Gaza and its people, saying, “You have fulfilled your promise. Greetings to our people in Gaza who have made great sacrifices. Our freedom is thanks to the resistance that we must preserve, and we must remain united.”
Reports indicate that 15 of the released prisoners are in dire condition and have been sent to hospitals. According to media, about 70 prisoners from Ktziot are heading toward the Kerem Shalom checkpoint, as they are prohibited from being freed within Israel. Meanwhile, buses carrying prisoners from Ofer prison are heading toward Ramallah, where they are scheduled to be released.
Preparations are in full swing across the West Bank to welcome the freed prisoners. Local residents are taking to the streets of cities, celebrating the return of their fellow citizens. However, along the routes of the buses, Israeli security forces are actively attempting to disperse those gathering.
