🔸 Those who, with full support from the U.S., European and regional allies, and the backing of the global media empire of oppression, aimed to achieve their declared objectives of “releasing the captives without paying a price through military operations, completely destroying Hamas, and returning northern settlers” have, after 463 days of brutality, including the martyrdom of over 50,000 innocent people, injuring hundreds of thousands, and destroying over 80% of Gaza’s vital and residential infrastructure, been forced to surrender to the unmatched patience and resilience of the heroic people of Gaza and the iron will of the Resistance.

Despite the open and direct defeat of the US and Netanyahu-led Israel, along with the historical collapse of israel's mythical military strength, it remains difficult to trust whether israel will truly honor the ceasefire or, after the prisoner swap, continue its massacres and targeted assassinations of top leaders. The future governance of Gaza remains unclear, and if any foreign body is chosen to manage it, it could prove disastrous, as they may betray the resistance and facilitate its destruction, much like Mahmoud Abbas has done. We need to wait and observe how this situation develops.

Former US President Trump, known for empowering Zionist forces, had long worked in tandem with Netanyahu’s agenda. Netanyahu and Israeli leadership were pleased with Trump’s presidency and the Zionist influence within his security apparatus. There was never a true rift between Trump and Netanyahu; the recent ceasefire was pre-arranged to coincide with Trump’s inauguration, and stories of Trump “pressuring” Netanyahu are mere propaganda. The ceasefire appears strategically designed to relieve international pressure on Israel, giving it time to rearm, regroup, and prepare for further offensives while diverting global attention away from its crimes. Israel will use this period to restock militarily while the media narrative shifts towards “moving forward, not looking back.”

Meanwhile, Trump’s aggressive policies aimed to weaken Yemeni and Iranian power by fueling Al-Qaeda factions in Yemen to attack Ansarullah-controlled regions. Iran, Hezbollah, and Yemen remain prime targets for both the US and Israel, with West Bank annexation still a core objective. The ceasefire may temporarily defuse global support for Iran, Lebanon, and Yemen’s defensive responses, but it ultimately serves Israel’s strategic interests.

Israel has failed but is likely to expand its offensive activities in neighboring Egypt and Jordan while spreading the massacre belt in Syria. The potential division of Syria looms as Israeli airstrikes continue, such as the recent attack on a Tahrir al-Sham convoy—likely a show of force to maintain control. However, the collapse of Julani’s regime seems inevitable despite media portrayals of strength.

It is now undeniable that those who failed to achieve their goals against a blockaded Gaza cannot hope to subdue Yemen, which has the capacity to strike deep inside Saudi Arabia, or Iraq, where resistance forces are far stronger than those in Gaza. And they certainly cannot succeed against Iran, which stands more prepared and capable than ever before for self-defense.

Palestine’s struggle cannot succeed if its regional allies and global supporters are systematically weakened or destroyed—a goal the US and Israel continue to pursue. While the temporary ceasefire may create the illusion of peace, it is a calculated strategy to dismantle the remaining pillars of resistance but Gaza attained victory and it belongs to it that is why we celebrate!

🔸 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran congratulates the people of Palestine, the Palestinian resistance, and all supporters and advocates of resistance around the world on the historical victory represented by the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip. This ceasefire is a product of the unwavering resistance, courage, and resilience of the great people of Palestine and Gaza in the face of one of the largest genocides and population displacements in history, and it is the result of the solidarity of all people in Gaza with the noble resistance, standing firm against the forced displacement of Palestinians.

🔸 For over 15 months, the occupying and genocidal Israeli regime has been systematically and egregiously violating fundamental international laws, human rights, and humanitarian principles, committing the most severe war crimes and crimes against humanity. Its colonial elimination plan for the Palestinian people, which began 80 years ago with the support or silence of colonial powers, was pursued with unprecedented brutality. By crossing all legal and moral red lines, Israel has recorded a new level of savagery in history, marked by the senseless massacre of humans, especially women and children, the destruction of homes and vital infrastructure, the annihilation of hospitals and schools, attacks on refugee camps and tents, targeting of journalists, doctors, and nurses—these were recurring patterns of crimes committed over the last 15 months with the dual objective of eradicating Palestine and breaking the spirit of resistance.

🔸 During these 15 months, what encouraged and empowered the Israeli regime to advance its plan of genocide against Palestine was the comprehensive and direct military, financial, and political support from the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and several other Western countries. These nations, by ensuring the impunity of the regime’s leaders, obstructed any effective action by the United Nations to stop the crimes of the occupying regime and disrupted international efforts, including those through the International Court of Justice and the International Criminal Court, to hold the criminals accountable. Undoubtedly, these countries, as partners in the crimes committed by the Israeli regime, must be held accountable.

🔸 It is hoped that, with the new development and the support of the global community and the effective role of responsible international actors, we will witness the full implementation of the agreed arrangements, including the complete cessation of genocide and killings in Gaza, the complete withdrawal of the occupiers, immediate and comprehensive humanitarian aid to Gaza, the swift initiation of the region’s reconstruction, and alleviating the suffering of the resilient and patient people of Gaza.

🔸 In parallel with the cessation of genocide in Gaza, the global community must pay close and increased attention to the gross violations of international law, human rights, and humanitarian law in the West Bank, and the continuous assaults by the occupying regime on Al-Aqsa Mosque.
