🇸🇾 Report | Fourth Statement by the Syrian Popular Resistance:

Amid the harsh events in our beloved Syria and the trials faced by our Arab nation, particularly in wounded Gaza, 29 days have passed since the fall of the former regime and the assumption of power by the new regime led by Ahmad al-Sharaa, who is internationally and popularly classified as a terrorist.

Our people are enduring renewed suffering and tragedies, darker than ever before, worse even than those under the previous regime. The former regime’s criminality and abuses have been succeeded by a new Zionist-Wahhabi ideology that exacerbates the brutality and oppression. Civilians are now killed at will, without accountability or oversight, reminiscent of the barbarity of ancient tribal invasions.

The former president refused to open the Golan front against the Zionist entity, even in solidarity with Gaza, despite possessing the means to do so, a move widely supported by the people. The new regime has not only continued this betrayal but has gone further by surrendering strategic territories like the Golan Heights, Mount Hermon, Quneitra, and over 500 square kilometers to the Israeli enemy. It has also disarmed Palestinian factions and dismantled their headquarters.

This new regime, which came with the blessings of the United States, Israel, and the West, is far worse than its predecessor. Al-Joulani, a product of this alliance, has proven to be a greater threat, continuing the legacy of betrayal and criminality.

In light of this, we declare the following:
1. Resistance as a Legitimate Right
Our resistance is a legitimate right to defend ourselves, expel aggressors, and lift oppression from our people:
“Whoever is killed in defence of his property is a martyr, and whoever is killed in defence of his blood is a martyr.”
2. Unity Against Division
We call for unity among Syrians and reject divisions and differences to face this aggression with unshakable determination.
3. Quality Operations in Defence of the People
Our resistance has conducted operations to defend the people, including the recent action by the Syrian Popular Resistance in Al-Hamdaniya, Aleppo. This was in defence of our Palestinian brothers, who were directly attacked by the terrorist militia ‘Hayat Tahrir al-Sham,’ resulting in the martyrdom of several resistance fighters and Palestinian comrades.
4. Condemnation of Ethnic Cleansing and Massacres
The terrorist gangs continue to commit massacres against unarmed civilians and members of the Syrian Arab Army. The army has never served a regime or sectarian interests but has defended the nation against Wahhabi mercenaries, Israeli and Turkish occupations, and deviant ideologies.
We call on international bodies to intervene and halt the atrocities of the new regime, as continued bloodshed threatens to ignite a civil war with devastating consequences.

Our people must rise against the betrayal of Al-Jolani and his Western-Zionist backers. The Syrian people’s rights and aspirations for independence, security, and freedom remain steadfast.

As we approach 1:20 AM on January 3rd, 2020, a moment that shattered everything in a fraction of a second, five years ago, the world felt a tremor in its heart when we learned that Shaheed Qassim Soleimani (r) and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis (r) were martyred in a US-Israeli airstrike. That moment, and the days following, have shown us nothing new—only the continued shame of the world spilling the blood of one of the most decent, noble, and dedicated hearts, whose soul beat for the millions of oppressed people in the region and across the world.

Shaheed Qassim Soleimani (r) saved thousands of Yezidis, Christians, and other minorities in Syria from the clutches of Daesh. He made sure to protect the holy shrines in Syria, particularly in places like Daraa, and responded quickly to defend Damascus when it was under threat. He went to Iraq multiple times, delivering the message of the Leader and ensuring that the resistance was managed and coordinated there. His work was everywhere—he was a crucial leader in maintaining the resistance in Iraq, organizing operations, and guiding them to success.

Shaheed Qassim Soleimani (r) saved the entire world from the threat of terrorism, a fact none can deny. Even European nations admitted this. He stopped the greatest threat of Daesh, and now, Shaheed Qassim Soleimani (r) is alive—in spirit, though no longer with us physically.

Today, when Sinwar’s staff hit the palace of the worst creation, the accursed israeli regime, we all came to understand what Soleimani (r) did and why he was killed. Today, even Israelis are admitting the plan, which has been in the works since 2016 and was executed precisely, despite all kinds of pressure and intelligence, and we have come to understand how it was carried out.

Shaheed Qassim Soleimani (r) elevated and strengthened resistance fronts through a completely upgraded software, achieving every target. He went to Gaza many times, to Khiam, to Golan—wherever he was needed. He was the one who gave the Arabs the weapons and tech to build hundreds of kilometers of tunnels and trenches. Just as “Farsi” advises prophets like Muhammad (S) to dig trenches, Soleimani was the one to ensure that.

Qassim Soleimani (r) was not only a commander; he was a political analyst, an exceptional executor of plans, a great manager, and spiritually, he was a revered scholar and teacher. He was outstanding in understanding the region and its dynamics. He was deeply loved by Christians, Syrians, Iraqis, Yemenis, and Palestinians alike.

The martyrdom of Qassim Soleimani (r) remains the biggest loss till now. Although his tasks were completed, his absence still hurts. We curse the killers of Soleimani (r) those who ordered his assassination, and those who stand by them in support. They will pay for their treachery, and their blood will be on their hands forever. We are all human beings, and we cry for him.

This friendship led to the transfer of advanced weapons and technology to Palestinian resistance forces, as well as training, in 2012. Soleimani (r) relayed the message of Imam Khamenei (h) that Iran sought nothing in return, not even “thanks” for helping Palestine. They emphasized that their actions were their duty according to the Quran, with no regional interests at stake.

Sinwar (r) shared this message with the resistance and inspired the masses, marking the day the “Tufan al-Aqsa” (The Storm of Al-Aqsa) began. Gaza was armed, and hundreds of kilometers of tunnels were dug by the people, with advanced techniques provided by Qasim Soleimani (r). Both friends brought Hamas closer to Iran and Lebanon, strengthening their resistance more than ever. This was the moment that broke the backbone, hands, and legs of Israel and the American plans. Today, this ongoing struggle, supported by martyrs, remains unbreakable both physically and eternally. That is why, when we say they are alive, it holds deep significance.
