🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei (H) met hundreds on the martyrdom anniversary of Martyr Qassim Soleimani (r):
Imam Khamenei’s response to those who claim that the blood of the Defenders of the Shrine has been wasted due to recent regional events:
“Some, due to a lack of proper analysis, understanding, or necessary awareness of the issues, believe, express, and perhaps propagate the idea that recent events in the region have rendered the blood shed in defense of the shrines futile. This is a major error and a grave mistake. If these lives had not been sacrificed, if this struggle had not been waged, and if Hajj Qassem Soleimani had not courageously moved through the mountains and deserts of the region, leading these martyrs with him, there would be no trace of these holy shrines today.
Be assured of this: not only would Sayyidah Zaynab’s shrine have been lost, but there would also be no news of Karbala or Najaf. The proof of this is Samarra. Some negligence occurred regarding Samarra, and you saw how the shrine of Imam al-Askari (A) was destroyed and its dome shattered. By whom? Those same takfiris with the help of the Americans. The same fate would have befallen everywhere else if this defense had not been carried out. The destiny of these holy shrines, these qiblas of Muslim hearts, would have been the same as the destroyed dome of Imam al-Askari (A)."

🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei’s statement about the future of countries that neglect their young faithful people:
“If some countries make the grave mistake of removing the factors of stability and strength—namely, their faithful youth—from the scene, they will face the same fate as Syria.”
“Syria belongs to the Syrian people. Those who encroached upon Syrian soil will one day retreat before the brave youth of Syria.”

🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei (H) speaks about the divine honor seen in the masses visiting Martyr Soleimani’s shrine:
“God Almighty has shown that honor lies in His hands. This is honor: people traveling long distances, sometimes from other countries, on the anniversary of Soleimani’s martyrdom to visit his grave, to pay their respects, and to recite Fatiha for him. Is this not honor? This is true honor.”
“When you work for the sake of God, He responds in this way. This is the reward in this world. As for his status in the realm of divine mercy and blessings, it is beyond our imagination. But his worldly reward is evident: his shrine attracts thousands, even hundreds of thousands, who come to visit and pay their respects. This honor is granted by God. When we act sincerely, God responds in kind.”

🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei (H) recounts how Martyr Soleimani thwarted the U.S. plan to encircle Iran:
“From the early 2000s, when U.S. military aggression began in our region—first in Afghanistan and then in Iraq—Martyr Soleimani stepped onto the battlefield right from the start. He didn’t fear danger or the might of the enemy.”
“Their main target was Iran. The invasion of Afghanistan to the east and Iraq to the west of Iran, each under a different pretext, were part of their plan. On the surface, these invasions had specific reasons, but the reality was to encircle the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation from both sides. That was their goal. When these two invasions were thwarted, their objective naturally failed.”
“Martyr Soleimani entered the battlefield from the very beginning. His role in this sacred struggle was unparalleled. He didn’t boast or write about his efforts, and I don’t think anyone else has managed to document the intricate details of his work. This is a regrettable loss. Of course, much information exists—both with us and others—but these must be preserved as part of our country’s political heritage. These events should become documented so future generations understand them.”

🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei speaks about how the U.S. wanted to stay in Iraq, but Martyr Soleimani prevented it:
“From the very beginning, a small group of young people in Najaf took a stand against the foreign forces that had invaded Iraq. They took refuge in the holy shrine of Amir al-Mu’minin, unarmed and without proper food. Shaheed Soleimani felt a duty to help them. He began reaching out, providing them with support, and ultimately saved them. Of course, the religious authorities also played a vital role at that time, which was incredibly important and effective. But Soleimani was the first to act.”
“The Americans didn’t come to Iraq to remove Saddam and leave. They came to remove Saddam and replace him with themselves. Initially, they imposed a military governor, a general, on Iraq. When that was deemed too offensive, they replaced him with a political figure, ‘Bremer.’ It was Shaheed Soleimani who played a crucial role in ensuring that this figure was removed, and after a long and complex process, Iraq came back into the hands of the Iraqis, allowing them to choose their own rulers.”
“Then came the rise of ISIS. After realizing that direct intervention in Iraq and the surrounding areas was no longer in their interest, the Americans created ISIS. This has been acknowledged by the Americans themselves. And once again, when ISIS emerged, it was Shaheed Soleimani who stepped into the field and confronted them. The Iraqi youth shone brightly in this struggle, but Soleimani’s role was vital. Without him, it couldn’t have been done.”

🇮🇷 Breaking | Don’t underestimate Shaheed Abu Mahdi Muhandis (r):
In his speech during the fifth anniversary of martyr Soleimani, Imam Khamenei (H) said:
“Shaheed Soleimani’s constant strategy in his jihadist activities was to revive the Resistance Front. What does that mean? It means using the capacities and ready-to-work youth of those countries, and he did this in the best way possible. Wherever he went, whether it was Iraq, Syria, or Lebanon, he mobilized the local forces that were ready to work.”
“In Iraq, for instance, the religious leadership issued a fatwa, calling for the people to stand against ISIS. Thousands of youth went, but thousands of youth without organization, weapons, or training—what could they do? Who organized them? Who provided them with weapons? Who trained them? It was Shaheed Soleimani, with the help of Iraqi friends, including Shaheed Abu Mahdi.”
“Don’t underestimate Shaheed Abu Mahdi; he was a great man, a person of great value. Alongside Shaheed Soleimani and others, some of whom are alive and some have become martyrs, Shaheed Soleimani brought these forces into the field. This was one of his qualities—using available capacities for a great task, knowing how to do it, and dedicating himself to it. This was the work of Shaheed Soleimani.”

🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei (H): Defending Sacred Borders was a Principle for Shaheed Soleimani (r):
“In all the stages of this great struggle that our dear brother, our close companion, was engaged in, defending the sacred borders was a principle for him.”
“Defending the borders was a principle. He had to defend the holy shrines, the shrine of Sayyidah Zaynab (A), the tombs of the companions of Amir al-Mu’minin (A), some of whom are buried in Syria, others in Iraq. He had to defend Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is the great sanctuary of the Islamic world. That is why the Palestinians, that Palestinian leader in his speech, referred to Shaheed Soleimani as ‘Shaheed al-Quds.’ He defended that sanctuary.”
“He also referred to Iran as a sanctuary. He defended Iran as a sanctuary. You see, this logic, the logic of defending sacred borders, is a very important logic.”

🇮🇷 Breaking | Imam Khamenei (H):
Shaheed Soleimani’s View of National Issues was Global and International; He Saw the Danger Beyond the Borders and Sought Solutions:
“Shaheed Soleimani’s view of national issues was not narrow or limited. This is very important. He looked at and assessed the country’s issues with a global and international perspective. What does that mean? It means that he believed that any important event in the region, or even in the world, has an impact on the country and affects national issues.”
“The issues that concerned him, and there were some issues that were not his responsibility, such as economic issues, he saw the impact of global events, recognized it, calculated it, and addressed them. He recognized the danger from outside the borders and sought a solution. This is the teaching of Islam, to recognize danger in advance. As Amir al-Mu’minin Imam Ali (A) said, ‘I do not sleep with lullabies, I do not remain indifferent to the enemy; I cannot sleep.’”
