🇱🇧 Breaking | Targeted Assassination on Al-Khardali Road, Lebanon:
An Israeli march targeted a car on Al-Khardali Road, resulting in one martyr. The vehicle was attacked, and the full photo shows the martyr lying on the road, likely killed after leaving his car. The attack took place on a busy road, usually connecting Marjaiyoun to Nabatieh. Mr Ali Shoeib added, "The nature of this attack suggests it was a targeted assassination."
This is part of a concerning trend, as it is not the first drone strike targeting unarmed civilians in Lebanon, and there has been a worrying increase in such assaults.
Neither of these attacks aligns with the ceasefire or even the worst interpretations of it. Additionally, this morning, IOF attacked a truck in south Lebanon, claiming it was a rocket launcher. However, they have selectively posted news and have not claimed responsibility for all attacks, including the drone strikes that killed civilians, as well as yesterday’s three drone strikes.
The silence from the Lebanese government and Army, which now has renewed authority to “protect,” is a betrayal and a reminder of the grim reality. Despite the end of the battle, Israel continues to demolish civilian houses in Kfarkila town. This ongoing destruction and targeted attacks on civilians are clear violations of so called international law.

Turkish Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar has suggested the revival of a long-stalled natural gas pipeline project connecting Turkiye and Qatar. Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Bayraktar stated that the project could become viable following the takeover of Syria.
Bayraktar highlighted that for the pipeline to materialize, Syria must achieve “territorial integrity and stability.” He added, “If so, that line must be safe,” and emphasized the potential for expanded energy production once conditions stabilize.
The proposed pipeline, designed to link Qatar to Turkiye and Europe via Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Syria, had previously faced staunch opposition from the former Syrian government.

He is correct in what he says, as evidenced by the evolving reality in Syria and Turkey's prior role and engagement with various regional players.
The issue is that the Arabs have been sidelined, playing no significant role—a setback of considerable magnitude.
Another issue is that Israel, which has influence over southern Syria, will not accept the situation Erdoğan referred to. It is bound to either de-escalate tensions or engage in a proxy confrontation.
As for Washington, as always, it serves as the conductor, orchestrating the rhythm to suit its interests.
It is still too early to discuss the future—the future of the region as seen through the lens of Syria.
There remains a balance of power or a compass determining the course events may take.

HTS leader Jolani’s speech today was a great eye opener for those who’re still sleeping. Highlights were:
• No attack against Russian bases; Russia was given chance to reconsider relations
• Not seeking war with Israel
• What happened in Syria was a victory against Iran’s plans - Iran must go
• Jolani never made a mention of the presence of US soldiers in Syria
There’s no direct evidence of Jolani being tied to Israel/US.
Other than the fact that he was ex-ISIS, a rebranded Al-Qaeda (which was fully financed & equipped by the US) who repeatedly received assistance by both the US & Israel (even publicly received medical help inside Israel).
Other than the fact that Israel occupied a big chunk of western Syria, 20-30km away from Damascus while Jolani iterated for the upteempth time that he’s not looking to fight Israel—while they are literally behind his doors—meanwhile astutely says that Iran’s exit from Syria was his victory and that he doesn’t want them here—the same Iran that had no bases in Syria and its presence was solely advisory and was the only country that helped Syria defend against Israel, creating obstacles for Israel.
Other than the fact that US has illegal bases in Syria pumping & stealing oil while directly supporting FSA’s rival, the SDF—but chooses to not make a single mention of their presence, having US in Syria creating no obstacle for Israel.
Other than the fact that Russia’s presence was only bothering because it supported Assad, but they have no issue with their presence if they reach an agreement—the same Russia that never defended Syrians against Israeli attacks, at best only issued condemnation statements, having Russia’s presence creating no obstacle for Israel.
Even if you don’t like Assad, Jolani is not the one you should be supporting.
