Bashar al-Assad himself said that his military forces had either become smugglers, thieves, or checkpoint guards who take bribes to let people pass. These forces were unable to defend me, and when I wanted to even protect Damascus, I realized they could not even safeguard Damascus.

Bashar al-Assad did not allow us to help them. Although in the past, he requested help from us, this time, not only did he not ask for assistance, but he was worried about our involvement, saying, “If you come, Israel will attack us.” Assad was under threat, and this is what we saw.

It appears that the person most aware of regional issues is His Eminence, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, who, God willing, will shed some light on these matters tomorrow.

West Asia is a very resource-rich region, and if unity is established among Islamic countries, they could sanction the West. If the regional countries were to shut off their oil pipelines for even a week, the world would see what would happen.

Any observant person can see that the U.S. and Europe are plotting in the region and pitting countries against one another. Just as they spent significant resources in 2022-2023, if any other country had faced such challenges without the guidance of a Wali al-Faqih (Imam Khamenei), the outcome would have been uncertain.
