Wafiq Safa’s assassination was directly planned by the CIA through its embassy in Beirut, as exposed by Al-Akhbar. In response, the US ambassador threatened Al-Akhbar with a ban or censorship. It’s important to note that not only Wafiq Safa (H) but many Hezbollah members, who were also claimed by the Israeli occupation forces to have been killed, are alive and safe. The Israeli enemies are shifting their focus and waging inhuman warfare towards Syria, aiming to take over Syrian territories and threaten Bashar Assad’s government. israel’s goal is to sever the entire weapon route to Hezbollah, cut off financial routes, and contain Hezbollah’s influence in future ground battles in Syria.
