Recently, a troubling video went viral showing two Kashmiri businessmen being subjected to communal harassment in Surjanpur village, Himachal Pradesh's Hamirpur district. This incident was allegedly instigated by the wife of a local Sarpanch and highlights the growing trend of discrimination against Kashmiris.

Since the abrogation of Article 370 by the Hindutva regime, Kashmir has faced a systematic denial of its regional, cultural, and religious identity. The removal of Article 35A, which provided special privileges to the people of the state, has opened the doors for cultural invasion by outsiders. This invasion has resulted in the promotion of youth corruption, leading to a decay in moral and traditional values.

Outsiders have introduced harmful influences, including drug addiction, LGBTQ propaganda, fraudulent interpretations of gender equality, indecency through music and entertainment, illegal markets, liquor, tattoos, satanic cults, prostitution, and bizarre practices. At the same time, religious gatherings, public preaching, Friday prayers, and other spiritual activities face heavy surveillance and restrictions, pressuring preachers from all sects into silence.

There is a growing concern that foreign agencies, led by the U.S. and its allies, are working to instill "velvet revolution" tactics in the valley. Their aim seems to be to damage and dilute the new generation's cultural and religious identity. Meanwhile, Hindutva mafias are leading an institutional assault on Kashmiri Muslim businessmen and traders across India, with street vendors facing mass boycotts and targeted harassment.

This situation mirrors what has been observed in other regions like Afghanistan and Turkey, and even attempts to destabilize communities inside Iran. It is imperative for Kashmiris to rise above sectarian divides and unite to defend their generations and cultural identity. Preachers from all sects, educated individuals, and youth must come together to take proactive steps against this systematic erosion of Islamic values.

The situation in Kashmir is poised for a definitive shift in the coming months or within the year. After losing strategic footholds and influence across West Asia, the U.S. is likely to redirect its covert and proxy operations toward South Asia. This shift will involve moving parts of its terror and destabilization machinery toward the India-Pakistan border, aiming to provoke new escalations.

India may be subtly pushed into direct confrontation, with the narrative of “counter-terrorism” being reactivated as a cover. Pakistan, already struggling under multiple internal pressures, could be further destabilized — not through open war, but through orchestrated disorder and internal collapse. Meanwhile, China, with its strategic interests in the region, especially near Ladakh and Gilgit-Baltistan, will find new opportunities to exploit the chaos to its benefit — militarily, economically, and diplomatically.

This isn’t just about Kashmir anymore. It’s about the larger realignment of geopolitical conflict zones after the West’s failures in Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan. South Asia is next in line.

The time to act is now.

However, the outlet later contradicted itself, quoting “Iranian sources” in support of implementing Resolution 1701. This conflicting narrative caught the attention of Israeli media, prompting speculation within Sky News Arabia that the original source may have been Israeli. The report aligned closely with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s media team, which has been increasingly accusing Iran of interference. The number of martyrs in Sambhal has risen to five after police brutally shot and killed them while they were protesting against a Hindutva mob, which emerged with communal and genocidal slogans targeting Muslims. This violence was triggered after an Indian court ordered a survey of a mosque to search for potential remains of an ancient temple beneath it.

At least five Muslim teenagers were martyred in this ensuing riots. Additionally, 25 Muslim individuals have been arrested in connection with the unrest that erupted on November 24, during which police forces reportedly opened fire on demonstrators.

In the aftermath, an internet shutdown has been imposed in the area. Police have been entering homes, breaking and damaging civilian property, and even beating children. A report of a child suffering from a bone fracture has surfaced, as well as reports of women being abducted by the authorities.
