For over two decades, efforts were made to preserve and document the remaining manuscript heritage in Jabal Amel, to protect it from loss was bombed by IOF.

An example of these significant manuscripts was:

1. Al-Rawdah al-Bahiyyah fi Sharh al-Lam’ah al-Dimashqiyyah (the commentary by al-Shahid al-Thani, and the text by al-Shahid al-Awwal).
2. Al-Mutawwal fi Sharh Mukhtasar al-Ma’ani fi ’Ilm al-Balagha by Sheikh Sa’d al-Din al-Taftazani.
3. Jami’ al-Maqasid fi Sharh al-Qawa’id by al-Muhaqqiq al-Karkhi al-Amili.
