The Mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance continue their defense against the Israeli aggression on Lebanon, inflicting severe losses on the enemy’s army in terms of personnel and equipment along all confrontation fronts, reaching deep into occupied Palestine.
1. Ground Engagements:
• Western Sector:
• Due to the heavy and concentrated strikes from the Resistance, Israeli enemy forces withdrew from most of the towns they had advanced into, retreating behind the borders. The exception has been the 146th Division of the Israeli army, which has remained in the Lebanese forests of Lubona and east of the town of Naqoura for over a week, attempting to control the area by advancing toward Wadi Hamoul from the eastern side of the town. In the border towns of the western sector, no attempts to infiltrate or advance have been recorded since October 28, 2024. The enemy has only conducted repeated sweeping operations from their border positions on areas from which they have withdrawn, with artillery shelling and airstrikes targeting second-line towns like Tayr Harfa, Al-Battishiya, Al-Jabbin, Shaheen, and Sidiqin, among others.
• In the Maroun al-Ras sector, the Mujahideen conducted more than 24 operations with rocket launchers and precision drones, targeting positions and concentrations of Israeli military forces and vehicles involved in the advance into Lebanese territory. The Mujahideen also carried out 26 rocket and artillery operations on settlements such as Avivim, Doviv, Sa’sa, Brariyam, Yeron, Dishon, and Malkeya Bar Yuhai, which house air defense and missile bases, leadership headquarters, weapons depots, and vehicle assembly areas belonging to the 36th Division of the Israeli army.
• During an attempt by Israeli forces to infiltrate from the town of Yaroun toward the western districts of Maroun al-Ras, the Mujahideen ambushed the infiltrating force, engaging them with machine guns and rocket launchers, resulting in casualties among the infiltrators.
• On the eastern side of Maroun al-Ras, between the town and Aytaroun, the Mujahideen ambushed an Israeli force attempting to infiltrate toward Ainatha. Intense direct combat occurred at close range with machine guns and rocket launchers, resulting in the death and injury of all members of the infiltrating force. The Mujahideen withdrew from the ambush site with cover from rocket and artillery fire from Islamic Resistance support forces.
• Eastern Sector:
• Due to the Resistance’s strikes, Israeli forces withdrew from the towns of Mays al-Jabal, Markaba, Rabat, Addaisa, and Khyam, retreating beyond the borders. The enemy continues to target second-line villages in this sector with artillery shells and airstrikes.
• In a similar operation to the one in Khyam, after monitoring and tracking movements of the Israeli 91st Division at the eastern outskirts of the town of Hula, and the concentration of forces and vehicles at the Al-Abad border site, the Resistance fighters targeted the site with several precise, high-quality rockets, causing massive explosions that resulted in casualties and significant damage to the site and vehicles within.
• In the town of Kafr Kila, while the engineering units of the Israeli 98th Division were demolishing homes and infrastructure in the town, the Mujahideen targeted two bulldozers and an armored personnel carrier with guided missiles, killing and injuring those inside. As the days of remembrance for the martyrdom of Sayyidah Fatima Zahra (S) approach, we urge all Shia brothers and sisters to honor her legacy with reflection and responsibility.
In these times, as both Sunni and Shia communities endure shared challenges, it is essential to maintain unity and avoid actions or words that could harm our Ahlul Sunnah brothers and sisters. Our respected leaders have long recognized that sectarian division only serves the interests of our enemies, not our own.
Sayyidah Fatima Zahra (S) devoted her life to the path of justice and truth, leaving behind a legacy that is the very foundation of Islamic resistance. Today, as we honor her memory, let us remember her teachings and strive to uphold unity and strength within the ummah for the sake of Allah. May her inspiration guide us and protect us in these crucial times.
Remember the words of our martyr Sayyid Hasan Nasrallah (r) in 2013:
“The purpose of these provocative actions between Shiites and Sunnis is to distract us from Palestine, to create hatred for all issues related to it, and to keep communities preoccupied with internal conflicts. Update on the Situation in Lebanon
A few days ago, the Zionist entity announced that they had defeated the Islamic Resistance. Their aim behind doing so was to secure an upper hand in the ceasefire talks. The battlefield disproved this claim, as they were then hit with 250 missiles by the Resistance in a single day. To reshuffle the cards in order to gain leverage, they announced they would carry out an expanded ground invasion in which they would seek to reach second line villages in South Lebanon to - this time, actually - destroy the Resistance's missile and airforce. This morning, the Zionist enemy carried out brutal airstrikes on residential buildings in Dahyeh, which - like the massacres they continue to commit by bombing civilian homes as part of their 'punitive deterrence' strategy - achieves none of their war objectives and advances none of their strategic interests. Since then, the Resistance has responded with over 20 operations, including strikes on two first-time targets (operations 11 and 18). It is clearer than ever that Hezb was prepared for the worst of scenarios and its ability to carry out operations in direct fulfillment of its war objectives remains unaffected by the enemy's tactics, including those used in earlier stages of the war, i.e., leadership assassinations, heavy bombing campaigns, etc.
