We received proposals from Egypt and Qatar regarding a temporary truce, increased aid, and a partial prisoner exchange. However, these proposals fall short of our people’s essential demands:
• They do not call for a permanent ceasefire, withdrawal from the Gaza Strip, or the return of the displaced.
• They lack provisions for our people’s need for security, relief, reconstruction, and open crossings, particularly the Rafah crossing.

What the “Israelis” did in response to our missile attack by launching 200 missiles at the Israeli entity was, in reality, disproportionate. Iranian air defense systems were one of the key factors in countering them. Inside the entity, they expected more from this “Israeli” step, yet what they delivered was less than anticipated.
The Islamic Republic will respond, with full certainty, to “Israeli” aggression at the appropriate time and in the appropriate way.
The occupation believed it could eliminate Hamas through aggression on the Gaza Strip, and Hezbollah through attacks on Lebanon. These were miscalculations.
We are prepared for war, although we do not seek to expand it, as we have already shown our deterrent capability.
Throughout global liberation movements, great leaders have been lost. One of Sayyed Nasrallah’s key policies was preparing and training successors. Today, Hezbollah continues its struggle with strength, both on the battlefronts and in the political arena.
We congratulate the Lebanese people and the Hezbollah Shura Council on electing Sheikh Naim Qassem as Sayyed Nasrallah’s successor.
Iran does not interfere in negotiations; these matters are for the Lebanese and Palestinians. It is their responsibility to negotiate and reach ceasefire agreements, and we support any decision they make.
Regarding Iran’s Role in the New International Order:
Russia and China are working to establish a new international system free from Western dominance. Emerging countries, including Iran, must play a prominent role in shaping this global order. A comprehensive agreement with Russia covering all aspects of relations and cooperation is ready and will be signed soon.
If faced with an existential threat, changing Iran’s nuclear doctrine remains an option. We currently have the technical capability to produce nuclear weapons; however, the Leader’s fatwa is the only deterrent.
On Missile Capabilities:
Our missile capabilities are widely acknowledged. Recent operations have shown this strength, and concerns remain in the West about their range. If Western countries disregard our sovereignty and territorial integrity, there is no reason for us to consider their concerns, and it is possible that the range of Iranian missiles will be further developed.
This war is asymmetric, with “Israel” committing crimes of ethnic cleansing and human genocide. Such acts are violations of humanity, not victories. “Israel’s” prevention of UNRWA from delivering food and water to Gaza’s besieged is peak hostility to humanitarian values.
The West funds these crimes by sending money and weapons to the occupation. Yet the will and resistance of the people remain unbreakable. Palestinians and Lebanese hold a steadfast will to resist and confront these massacres until victory is achieved.
