🇱🇧 Report | Ali Mortada (Murtaza) is a journalist with Al-Mayadeen who gained international recognition during the Al-Aqsa Flood due to his reporting and unique style. Known for his courage and his distinct way of connecting with audiences, Mortada became a notable face of frontline journalism. His now-famous line, “Hello, my enemies,” exemplifies his fearless approach, even in the midst of ongoing conflict.

In an interview from March 14th, 2024, Mortada opened up about the harrowing events of October 7th, a pivotal day in the unfolding conflict. He shared his deep and universal urge to fight, expressing the intensity of the situation and the raw emotions he felt in those moments. Mortada emphasized the critical importance of his work in transmitting the voice of resistance, viewing his journalistic role as a way to counter narratives and highlight the truth on the ground.

One particularly poignant part of his story was his experience with death. Mortada recounted moments of narrowly escaping harm, but instead of being deterred, he turned these close encounters into significant personal moments. For instance, he used an artillery shell, fired at him, to propose to his wife, showing the human side amidst chaos.

He also shared painful memories of losing colleagues, like Farah Omar and Rabie Maamari, who were martyred in the line of duty. Their deaths left a mark on him, but also reinforced his commitment to his mission.

Mortada’s concluding message was powerful: he called on every person, regardless of their role, to be a part of the resistance in their own way. Whether as a journalist, fighter, family member, or even a child, he emphasized that everyone has a unique contribution to the struggle. He urged for a united front until Gaza emerges victorious, emphasizing that the mass killing of civilians—over 30,000 lives—cannot be brushed aside. His message transcended religious affiliations, calling on humanity to take a stand for justice and truth.

❇️ It appears to have been a Twitter-based staged attack. A minor sabotage was conducted to create the impression of an Israeli attack on Iran, and now various Twitter accounts and users are posting similar pictures and videos that seem to have been prepared in advance for this purpose. 🎭 Clown show!
