Condolence Statement Issued by the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement
With a deep sense of jihad and resistance, and with pride and honor, the Palestinian Mujahideen Movement mourns the great jihadi leader, Sayyid Hashim Safi al-Din, Head of the Executive Council of Hezbollah in Lebanon, who ascended as a martyr on the path to Jerusalem, along with a group of his fellow fighters, in a cowardly Zionist assassination targeting the southern suburb of Beirut in an earlier operation.
As we extend our heartfelt condolences and congratulations to the brothers in Hezbollah, the Lebanese people, the nation, and all the supporters of the resistance worldwide, we acknowledge his great sacrifices, long-standing struggle, and his unwavering support for the Palestinian people and their steadfast resistance. We recall his long history of resisting and confronting the Zionist enemy.
The martyrdom of great leaders in the battle to defend Jerusalem and support the resilient Palestinian people, alongside the martyrs of Palestine and all the mujahideen in the Ummah and the Resistance Axis, strengthens the meanings of unity in the nation and affirms the correctness of the path and the unity of direction and destiny.
We greatly value the immense sacrifices made by the mujahideen of Hezbollah and its noble leadership. We praise their steadfast and unwavering support for our people despite the intensity of aggression, conspiracies, and betrayals. We affirm that the Zionist policy of assassinations will not weaken the determination of the mujahideen nor break the will of resistance in the Ummah, nor will it restore the Zionist enemy’s lost deterrence and prestige.
The continued crimes of the enemy reflect its failure and inability in the face of the steadfastness and struggle of our resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, and in the face of the strategic blows it receives on the battlefield and within the entity itself, which will only intensify and escalate, by Allah’s will. Deep condolences and heartfelt congratulations to our brothers, the fighters of the blessed Hezbollah, the peoples of the resistance, and the free people of the world, on the ascension of the devout servant and noble leader, His Eminence Sayyid Hashim Saffeidine, as a martyr on the path to Al-Quds.
The martyr Sayyed Hashim was truly the best support for his brother, the faithful martyr Nasrallah, and a great pillar for his fellow fighters. He dedicated his being to the cause of the oppressed, sacrificing his life in the way of Allah, until he joined the ranks of Imam Husayn (peace be upon him), patient and steadfast. He left behind a nation of resistors who inflict heavy blows upon the enemies of Allah and shake the foundations of their fleeting entity. They affirm that the pure blood of the martyrs will only strengthen their resolve, dignity, and faith in the inevitable victory that Allah has prepared for His faithful servants.
