I extend my heartfelt condolences to the heroic Palestinian people, especially the fighters of Hamas and the Islamic Resistance Front, on the glorious martyrdom of the steadfast mujahid and prominent leader of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance, “Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Al-Sinwar,” the esteemed Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas and an icon in the struggle against the criminal and tyrannical Zionist regime.

From today, the name of “Martyr Yahya Al-Sinwar” will shine alongside the names of illustrious Palestinian fighters like Ahmed Yassin and Ismail Haniyeh, who have been martyred in the path of liberating Al-Quds. This will ignite the flames of anti-Zionist resistance and, with Allah’s grace, will soon turn the invaders of the holy land into ashes.

Yahya Al-Sinwar was a courageous and steadfast fighter, a knowledgeable and valorous commander who was born in exile and witnessed the oppression and crimes of the Zionists from a young age. His 23 years of imprisonment and resistance transformed his commitment to the cause of anti-Zionist struggle and the continuation of organizing the resistance into a strong and impactful strategy. Alongside other pillars of resistance, he built “Hamas” into a powerful organization, and after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, his name became a terrifying nightmare for the Zionists, instilling fear in the hearts of the occupying forces and their supporters.

He embodied the symbol of the complete struggle and anti-Zionist resistance in the Islamic Ummah and the Arab world, shining brightly with his revolutionary spirit and successful leadership in strategic and operational levels, especially in architecting the historical operations of “Sword of Al-Quds” and “Al-Aqsa Flood,” shattering the security and intelligence dominance of the Zionist regime, leading to a catastrophic disarray within the Zionist community.

The dear martyr Al-Sinwar did not attain martyrdom deep in the tunnels of Gaza; rather, he achieved it in the heart of the battlefield, on the ground, and at the front lines, commanding and guiding the resistance fighters while exposing the fictitious and deceptive portrayals propagated by the Zionist regime.

We send our greetings to the pure and exalted spirit of this esteemed martyr and emphasize that just as the resistance movement and a powerful Hamas did not falter with the martyrdom of Dr. Ismail Haniyeh, under the guidance and heroic role of “Martyr Abu Ibrahim,” the dedicated and legendary Yahya Al-Sinwar will lead the anti-Zionist resistance with even greater strength and a more robust structure. With the help of Allah, utilizing the support of the resilient and oppressed people of Palestine and the intelligent and powerful backing of the resistance axis, which has now formed a “Grand Resistance Front,” we will continue to shape the battlefield rules of the Palestinian resistance against the vile and wolf-like Zionists, reminding the enemy that escalating war and crises will not offer an escape from the quagmire of their own making.

• Location of Martyrdom: Shaheed Sinwar attained martyrdom in Tel Sultan, which is merely meters away from the major battleground where significant fighting is ongoing. This confirms that Shaheed Sinwar often stayed close to the battlefront, as previously mentioned in our documents.
• Siege of Tel Sultan: The area of Tel Sultan was completely besieged for five days, with no access to water, food, or communication. Despite the IOF patrolling the area, they were unable to locate Shaheed Sinwar.
• Initiating the Attack: Shaheed Yahya Sinwar and his four companions initiated an attack against an IOF patrol in the area. In other words, the Israelis did not find him; it was Sinwar who found and ambushed the IDF forces.
• Heroic Actions in Combat: Yahya Sinwar and his four fighters suddenly emerged from a building, moving from cover to cover while throwing grenades and firing at the IOF. Even after sustaining heavy wounds and witnessing the deaths of all his bodyguards, he continued to throw grenades from inside the building, forcing the IOF to retreat before he attained martyrdom.
• IOF's foolishness: The IOF made a foolish mistake by publishing a video in which the Shaheed is seen fighting valiantly. So they broke perfume's bottle and spread the aroma globally...

Name:

• Brother Commander Yahya Ibrahim Hassan Sinwar “Abu Ibrahim”

Birth and Early Life:

• Born on October 19, 1962, in the Khan Younis refugee camp.
• His family was displaced from the city of Majdal Asqalan by Zionists in 1948.

Marital Status:

• After his release from “Israeli” prisons in the “Wafa al-Ahrar” prisoner exchange deal in 2011, he got married in 2012. He has three children: two sons, Ibrahim and Abdullah, and a daughter, Reda.

Education:

• He studied in Khan Younis schools and completed his secondary education at Khan Younis Secondary School for Boys.
• He then enrolled at the Islamic University of Gaza and obtained a bachelor’s degree in Arabic Language.

Student Activities:

• He worked in the Student Council of the Islamic University for five years, serving as Secretary of the Artistic Committee, then the Sports Committee, Vice President, President of the Council, and Vice President again from 1982 to 1987.
