This latest attack saw the deployment of the Northrop B-2 Spirit heavy strategic bomber, marking a significant escalation in US strikes on Yemen.

A US defense official confirmed to CNN that the B-2 bomber was used in the raids, a platform typically reserved for heavily defended targets. "The B-2 is a much larger platform than the fighter jets that have been used so far to target [Ansar Allah] facilities and weapons, capable of carrying a far heavier load of bombs," the report highlighted.

Meanwhile, Yemeni media outlets reported that six airstrikes, led by the US and UK, targeted northern and southern parts of the capital, including Al-Hafa, and Jirban areas.
