🟡 Breaking | Statement issued by Hezbollah on the anniversary of Al-Aqsa Flood:
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
"Permission is given to those who fight because they have been wronged, and indeed, Allah is capable of granting them victory."
The Almighty has spoken the truth.
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the heroic Aqsa Flood operation, which showcased the will of the Palestinian resistance in confronting aggression, injustice, and the occupation inflicted upon this oppressed people since 1948, followed by wars, tragedies, and destruction. This operation will have historical impacts and strategic consequences on the overall situation in the region until justice is achieved by removing the occupation, and the Palestinian people attain their legitimate right to their full free land from the sea to the river.
On this historic occasion, we wish to emphasize the following:
1. The full right of the Palestinian people to resist the occupation by all means to restore their legitimate rights and end the occupation.
2. Despite the brutality of the occupation and its aggression, which has led to the martyrdom of tens of thousands of Palestinians and the unprecedentedly savage destruction of Gaza, this oppressive entity has proven to be fragile, unable to survive without American support.
3. There is no place for this temporary Zionist entity in our region, in our social, cultural, or human fabric. It has always been and will remain a malignant, aggressive, and lethal cancer that must be eradicated, even if it takes time.
4. The United States and its allies and tools in the world and the region are partners in this occupation's aggression and its crimes against the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples and the region's populations. They bear full responsibility for the killing, crimes, and tragic human suffering.
5. We commend the resilience of the Palestinian people and their brave resistance after a year of patience, endurance, and heroism, despite the tragedies and pains they have endured. They are worthy of victory.
6. We praise the strength and courage of our fellow fighters on the support fronts in dear Yemen and great Iraq, as well as the historic decision made by the Islamic Republic of Iran to strike at the heart of the occupation entity with missiles in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, with significant impacts on the nature of this open confrontation with the Zionist enemy.
7. Hezbollah's decision to open the support front on October 8 to assist the Palestinian people and their honorable resistance is a decision aligned with righteousness, justice, and complete humanity. At the same time, it is a decision to defend Lebanon and its people, for which our resistance and our people have paid a heavy and costly price in their leadership structure, military and material capabilities, the forced displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians, and severe destruction of private property and buildings. Despite the ongoing crime and aggression by the enemy, we are confident, God willing, in our resistance's ability to repel the aggression, and in the great patience and resilience of our resisting people until this ordeal ends. We see ease after hardship and relief after distress, for the time of defeats has passed, and the victory of Allah has come.
