Our mourning is of the kind of Imam Husayn (A), which is alive and life-giving. We are in mourning, but this mourning urges us to move forward and progress with greater enthusiasm for work. I want this message to truly penetrate our hearts and souls. We must feel that our mourning should propel us forward.

Regarding the issues of Gaza and Lebanon, as I mentioned, I will address them, God willing, if life permits. I want to say just one thing: the fundamental problem in our region—which gives rise to conflicts, wars, anxieties, and enmities—is rooted in the presence of those who talk about peace and calm in the region, namely the United States and certain European countries. If they lessen their malign influence in this area, undoubtedly, these conflicts and wars will be entirely eliminated. The countries of the region can manage themselves, administer their own region, and live together in peace, health, and tranquility.

One day, they provoke a country; they provoke someone like Saddam, leading to difficult and bitter circumstances. One day he is gone, and his backers are also absent, resulting in love and cooperation between the two countries, as you all saw during the Arbaeen pilgrimage. This is how the situation is. The same applies to other countries. The presence of those who today speak of regional tranquility and lie is the fundamental cause of the problems in this region.

We hope that, with God’s grace, the high aspirations of the Iranian nation, the inspiration of the Islamic Revolution, and the cooperation of other nations will help reduce the influence of our enemies in this region, God willing.
