Hajj Abu al-Fadl assumed leadership of the Islamic Resistance’s Mujahideen in the south since the Zionist invasion of 1982. 4. israel faces an existential threat if a full-scale war breaks out. It would certainly consider using its nuclear weapons if the situation becomes critical.
5. israel has used covert sabotage assets to assassinate figures like Ismail Haniyeh and has taken no responsibility for it. In the April 1st attack against Iran’s embassy compound in Damascus, Israel also took no responsibility, but it can be proven that only Israel’s military could be responsible.
6. Iran’s missile attack in April was disproportionate in the sense that a key goal was to force Israel to expend a large number of its expensive and rare first-tier missile defense interceptors. However, the actual impact was proportional, targeting military assets (or their support infrastructure) that were used to strike the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus. This was a capability display against a nuclear power with very fragile strategic depth, carefully calibrated to avoid further escalation.
7. An Talmudic aggressive nuclear power with a strong military is best defeated through a prolonged war directly at its borders, stressing its economy and wearing down its home front. With or without its old leadership, Hezbollah is designed to do exactly that.
