At least 23 martyrs from Syrian nationality, including children, ascended yesterday in the IOF airstrike targeting the town of Younine in northern Beqaa in Lebanon.

It is 2024 and we are almost one year into a brutal genocide, and in recent days 500 Lebanese were killed in one day, with entire families being wiped out. Shouldn't people be aware of liberal Zionism by now and not be fooled by its deceptive tactics?
Being anti-Netanyahu simply means being a liberal Zionist. If he was anti-Zionist, he wouldn't have an "israeli" citizenship. It means this professor supports the occupation, just believes in different tactics than the reckless and bloodthirsty Netanyahu.
Anyone who thinks that "israel" is only bad because of Netanyahu, or that the US is only bad because of Trump, is extremely naive and has no understanding of these two regimes.
Everything Martyr Malcolm X (ra) said about white liberals is also true about Jewish liberals.
Being anti-Netanyahu means nothing. It is no different than Americans who are anti-Trump, but pro-Kamala. Jewish Voice for Peace's slogan has always been "two states for two peoples," meaning that they want to keep the occupation entity which is racially exclusive for Jews, while giving Palestinians an impotent state on the least desirable lands (similar to the US kicking Native Americans to their reservations). Jill Stein believes that the US should cut off funding to "israel" until it changes its behavior, meaning she is not opposed to the existence of the illegitimate entity, only its policies.
This "israeli" professor is cut from the same cloth. As long as he holds citizenship of an illegitimate entity, that he could easily renounce, he is complicit in the occupation, no matter what surface-level policies he disagrees with. Some have said he is "antiwar," another meaningless term. Many western "antiwar" activists are anarcho-socialists and Trotskyites, meaning they consider the US, Russia, and Iran to be "equally evil competing imperialists," and fail to differentiate between the aggression of the oppressor and the legitimate right of self-defense and resistance of the oppressed. Pezeshkian himself may be a simpleton, but those who are around him are certainly not as naive. There is a reason why one political bloc in Iran is the most spy-infested, with countless British and American spies being uncovered from the ranks of the previous administration of Hassan Fereydoun ("Rouhani"). They are also guardians of the wealthy oligarchs who do not wish to see an economic model based on Islamic principles which have been laid out quite expansively by very broad-minded scholars like Imam Musa Sadr, Ayatollah Baqir as-Sadr, etc. down to very fine details about how an Islamic economic model would look like.
That is not to say that there aren't people on the "conservative" side who pretend to adhere to the noble values of the Islamic Revolution in words and slogans, but do the opposite when in power and become corrupt, but that is because they have gone against the principles of the Islamic Revolution and have broken their promises, only pretending to be religious on the outside. Many "conservatives" also support the neoliberal economic structure that governs the Iranian economy, whose failures falsely get blamed on Islam and the Leader.
Liberalism, however, cannot produce any good fruit and even its promises are lackluster in nature. Liberals in the Muslim world think closer to Francis Fukayama than they do to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
There is no way this can be watered down. For the sake of solely the premature infant angels who died of malnutrition and suffocation in their incubators after various hospitals in Gaza were occupied and forcibly emptied by the Zionist terrorists, let alone the countless other massacres in Gaza and Lebanon since one year ago, this cannot be passed over, excused, nor rationalized, and must be called out and held to account.
And I, the editor-in-chief of Basira Press, as a former Jew who converted to Islam over a decade ago, personally condemn this act and deem it an intolerable insult to the thousands of martyrs from Gaza and Lebanon. I say this knowing that my neck is on the line, should this administration wish to continue the behavior of the Rouhani administration in being so hypersensitive that they jailed many critics over the 8-year term in office. If these liberals jail me for a tweet or post in support of the oppressed Palestinians and against any form of recognition of the illegitimate Zionist entity, tell my daughter to be proud of me for remaining principled on behalf of the innocent babies of Gaza her age who were slaughtered in cold blood.
