Notes:

2:09 - “The basis of this section of our martyrs is that the real achievement is the achievement of our martyrs. Imam Khomeini, when the war in Iran began, said, ‘the only ones who are victorious in this war are the martyrs.’ In every sense of the word, we too, quote the words of the Imam: the true and actual victors are the martyrs. They were victorious and kept true to their covenant with Allah when given the opportunity.”

🇸🇾 Report | The Syrian Social Nationalist
Party mourns the martyr leader Ibrahim Aqil, extending its deepest condolences and congratulations to Hezbollah’s leadership, heroic resistance fighters, and the families of the martyrs on the martyrdom of the great jihadist commander Ibrahim Aqil, alongside a number of leaders and resistance fighters. Throughout their journey, these martyrs have “shaped the image of the resistance as it stands today,” contributing to crucial victories that the homeland has reaped— “from the liberation of part of the occupied land to the accomplishment of October 7th and the eradication of terrorism in Syria.” In this context, the Party asserts that the aggression against the southern suburb will “not weaken the resolve of the resistance,” nor undermine its military structure or affect its strategic and tactical plans. The resistance will continue its course and will deliver a fitting response to punish the crimes committed by the enemy against civilians, children, and resistance fighters. As founder Antoun Saadeh said, “The blood of the martyr is the ink of history.”

🔻 Report | The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, also mourns the martyrdom of Hajj Ibrahim Muhammad Aqil, or “Hajj Abdul Qader,” who was targeted by “treacherous Zionist missiles” along with his comrades and Lebanese civilians in a brutal bombing of Beirut’s southern suburb. Despite fulfilling his duty of defending Lebanon and Palestine, this treacherous act will only “increase our determination and steadfastness” to continue on the path of struggle until the complete liberation of Palestinian lands and the restoration of stolen Arab territories in Lebanon and Syria. The Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades affirms, “Strikes do not kill us; they make us stronger,” as the enemy’s delusion of collapsing our barricades is unfounded. The strength and resolve of our people and resistance remain unshaken. “Our pledge is eternal revenge that will never fade,” with glory to the martyrs, freedom to the prisoners, and recovery to the wounded. Victory is certain, for the fog will one day lift from the hills, and resistance will prevail.

🔻Report | The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine extended condolences to the Lebanese people and Hezbollah for the martyrdom of Ibrahim Aqil, killed in an Israeli attack in Beirut. They praised Aqil as a great national leader dedicated to both Lebanese and Palestinian causes. The statement highlighted the unity of Lebanese and Palestinian blood in resisting the Israeli-American-NATO alliance and pledged to continue the struggle for the liberation of occupied Arab lands in Palestine, Lebanon, and Syria, while resisting American hegemony in the region.

❇️ Out of the 12 martyrs, 8 were leaders and fields commanders.

Hezbollah has released the names of 12 of its members who were martyred in the israeli terrorist air strike on Beirut, among whom 8 were commanders from the Ridwan Brigade:

• Martyr Commander Ibrahim Aqil
• Martyr Commander Siraj Hodroj
• Martyr Commander Hamza al-Gharbiya
• Martyr Commander Hajj Nineveh
• Martyr Commander Abu Yasser
• Martyr Commander Mahdi al-buks
• Martyr Commander Abu Hussein Wahbi
• Martyr Commander Muhammad al-Attar

The remaining were fighters. Hezbollah does not consist of populist figures or rely solely on its fighters; rather, it has ideologically trained scouts prepared to immediately fill the vacuum left by field commanders. These assassinations will not shake the nation but will trigger the situation to the next level. It is during these circumstances that the determined strategies of the resistance forces emerge, enabling them to engage in combat on their own terms—when, how, and not restricted by time.
