After extensive and comprehensive consultations and deliberations within the movement's leadership institutions, the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, has decided to elect the brother and fighter leader Yahya Sinwar as the head of the political bureau of the movement, succeeding the martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh.

Hamas expresses its confidence in brother Abu Ibrahim as its leader during this sensitive phase and the complex local, regional, and international circumstances, and prays to Allah Almighty to grant him success and guide his steps, and to grant a clear and decisive victory to our people and our cause.

At this historic moment, we remember our martyred leader Ismail Haniyeh, may Allah have mercy on him, who set an example of courageous, wise, and open leadership. We are confident that Abu Ibrahim and his fellow leaders will continue his path and the path of the previous leaders, preserving their jihadist and resistance legacy until liberation and return.

Mercy to our righteous martyrs, a swift recovery to the wounded and injured, and imminent freedom to our heroic prisoners. Victory to our great people and their valiant resistance.

Indeed, it is a jihad of victory or martyrdom.

The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced that Yahya Sinwaar (H) has been appointed as the new head of its Political Bureau, succeeding the martyr Ismail Haniyeh. But who is Yahya Sinwar? To understand him better, it’s essential to look through the lens of his enemies.

🇮🇶 Report | Sources within the Islamic Resistance in Iraq coordination committee reported that the recent targeting of the Ain Al-Assad base marks a new phase of escalation against American bases.

This operation came as a response to the zionist crimes of in the Gaza Strip, as well as the assassination of resistance leaders in Iran, Iraq, and Lebanon.

The attack on Ain Al-Assad with two rockets, which American officials said wounded five American soldiers, followed a threat conveyed by U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani, warning of the consequences of escalating against his country's interests in the region, according to an Iraqi government source.

Sources from the Resistance Coordination told Al-Akhbar that "the resistance in Iraq believes that the presence of Americans in the country poses a greater danger in light of the current regional changes, and therefore they must be pressured and confronted to expel them completely." They noted that the resistance "informed Al Sudani of this to ease the embarrassment on him."

Additionally, a leader in the Nujaba Movement confirmed that "targeting American bases and interests has become urgent due to the procrastination and delays in the matter of American forces' withdrawal from Iraqi lands. Furthermore, we have information confirming America's involvement with 'israel' through its bases in Iraq in carrying out operations against resistance leaders or killing the people of Palestine."

The Nujaba leader, speaking to Al-Akhbar on the condition of anonymity, added that "the coming period will witness continuous strikes against American forces whether within Iraq's geography or outside it, especially since all resistance factions agree that the occupation will not leave through governmental negotiations, but rather through military operations that may force it to comply with our demands."
