🏴 Report | He is Ibrahim Salem, the prisoner tortured in one of the most famous leaked pictures from the “Sde Teman” occupation concentration camp. Now, he is free with his horrific story.

Ibrahim was released after over 8 months, in a difficult health condition, having lost 40 kg of his weight.

Ibrahim explained the story behind the image that shook the world, saying:

• The torture occurred after he protested when occupation soldiers prevented an elderly Palestinian with diabetes from going to the toilet, forcing him to urinate on himself.
• At that moment, Ibrahim started shouting and removed the band covering his eyes, prompting other prisoners to rage with him.
• He was then taken for torture, stripped naked, and put in an extremely cold air-conditioned room during winter.
• He was tortured by electrocution in an electric chair and forced to stand in the position seen in the picture for four consecutive hours.
• Six of his family members, including his sister, brothers, and nieces, were martyred while he was in prison, and his home was destroyed by IOF bombing.
• In addition to physical torture, he was mentally tortured when IOF officers used to lie to him during interrogation, telling him his children in the ICU had been martyred.
• One day, after lying to him again, an officer told him he would “prove” it and forced him to watch videos of IOF bulldozers exhuming the graves of his siblings and their children, which he had buried in the yard of Kamal Adwan Hospital, showing their bodies being extracted and desecrated.

Islamic resistance has openly denounced the treachery of certain Arab individuals and consider them enemies, but it adheres strictly to Shariah guidelines and does not cross ethical boundaries.

Recently, this account on Platform X (formerly Twitter) has been active under the name Latifa Ismail Haniyeh. However, this account does not belong to Haniyeh’s daughter (Latifa). Here are the identified issues with the account:

1. The account was created in early July 2024, with the username (GhzhBnt27956).

2. The profile picture is of Shaheed Haniyeh’s granddaughter (Shaheeda Roua Hamma), who was attained martyrdom in an IOF airstrike on the Gaza Strip in November 2023.

3. Initially, the account shared posts and tagged random accounts to gain followers and increase engagement.

4. The account posted pictures claiming to be of girls from the Haniyeh family, but these are false. Two of the pictures belong to an activist from Gaza named Malak Fida, who assists displaced people by cooking food and collecting donations.

We request sincerity to the cause. What may seem temporarily helpful can later create trouble. Just as Elon Musk, who initially promoted anti-fake news rhetoric, later attempted regime change in Venezuela through fake news, and Jackson Hinkle, who denounced genocidal figures, turned pro-Donald Trump, this battle is a complex web of truth and falsehood. It’s not a matter of one side being entirely false and the other true; they are intricately intertwined. Listen and take news only from reliable resistance sources.
