How to Interpret the Recent Assassinations

The assassination of a political figure whose main functions are public and whereabouts are known is simply a breach of the rules of engagement. It is neither sophisticated nor a sign of power. It is the equivalent of what is known on the street as a 'sucker punch'. Additionally, the assassination does not cause a void on the battlefield because the target does not play a significant military role. He is a political leader and representative. Therefore, no strategic points are scored by the Zionist entity with this assassination either. Assassinations do not win wars, especially of this scale and strategic caliber. (1) Anyone is replaceable. (2) Assassinations are counterproductive when dealing with movements which are driven by strong ideologies and maintain longstanding legacies of struggle and resistance. The targeting of the senior commander in Lebanon is more damaging due to his impact and active military role. But even so, the Zionist entity knows very well that there is an entire generation of old school commanders who have been around since the inception of the Resistance. Assassinating one of them is also therefore far less effective than it seems. ✅ What happened and what will happen?

We say with full confidence, based on discussions with scholars and analysts inside Iran, as well as a few from Lebanon and Yemen in recent months, that we cannot predict or overthink what has happened. Our predictions should be based only on official details and authentic sources. Everything else is useless and time-wasting. We have also learned a lot and revised our approach to positive media propaganda.

Currently, after ten months, it is clear that the resistance axis is not an arc but a loop that begins and ends in Tehran from both sides. The resistance axis has an ideology that transcends all sectarian narratives. It cannot be divided or viewed as merely Shia or Sunni; it is Shariati’s Red Shiism. There is also Black Shiism, which is numerous, but the term “Red Shiism” is used to describe this discourse. Red Shiism, or the Quranic Jihad discourse, serves as a common platform for all kinds of beliefs, including non-Muslims, as historically proven in Karbala.

Imam Khamenei is the sole authority who has set the framework for the resistance, with his teams working, evolving, and implementing strategies beyond the constraints of global Jewish international laws. This is a unique development in the past 300 years, at least.

Regarding the issue at hand: IOF (Israeli Occupation Forces) had three major plans for victory. The first was to take control of Gaza, which they partially achieved but ultimately failed, repeating this attempt three times (see the documentation above). The second plan was to kill top leaders of Hamas and PIJ and declare victory, but they failed. Haniyeh and Muhammad Deif survived multiple assassination attempts, and the IOF failed at the start and mid-battle. When this plan failed completely, they announced their third plan: to eliminate all fighters of Hamas and other factions. To achieve this, they targeted anyone in their path, including infants, the elderly, those with Down syndrome, and even deceased Gazans, but they failed and admitted it.

In the past month, and particularly after Netanyahu’s recent visit to the US, the focus shifted once again towards their second goal: killing Hamas leadership to declare victory. This has proven to be their biggest mistake, surpassing all previous errors. This major blunder may be attributed to the disunity among the Israeli administration and army, as well as a lack of strategy due to regular defeats. Another major reason is that the planning is primarily done by US-based analysts and foreigners who miscalculate and misunderstand the situation.

The IOF has long been waiting for the opportunity to kill Ismail Haniyeh, and it’s not sudden. Iran was the only nation where they could attempt to harm this leader because they cannot bear the consequences of targeting other countries, they could not get benefited like they think they got benefited by choosing Iran. The planning was done with this in mind, and Ismail Haniyeh himself was prepared for all potential consequences. Currently, the IOF has announced the death of Muhammad Deif by sharing a meaningless video of a bombing, which is just their next-level propaganda in an attempt to claim victory. Those with narrow-minded views fail to realize that these tactics will not help them at all.

Now, when a man of the level of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in Hamas, who is indeed first in line of the resistance axis, is killed in this manner, the theme is clear: the end line for the resistance axis is here. Imam Khamenei has come out and announced attacks and punishment without delay, as was possibly studied before. These attacks will surpass those of April 14, targeting the direct strongholds of the enemy unlike before. Iran and all fronts will attack Israel from all positions, leading to a massive battle. All speculations are wrong; the ways are clear and there is nothing left to debate. The Zionists have set an expiry date for themselves.

The ceasefire narratives are coming to an end. The harsher words used by Imam Khamenei, such as “our guest” and “death on our soil,” suggest that Iran will now take the lead and fully enter the battlefield. In simple terms, the new phase of Al-Aqsa Storm is beginning, and it will not unfold as it did before.
