Big news out of Iraq today with the capture of former Baathist brigadier of the Fifth Division, Sadoun Sabri, in Erbil while renewing documents.

After his capture and interrogations, Sadoun confessed to killing Ayatollah Muhammad Baqir Al-Sadr and his sister, along with other crimes. In his confession, he revealed where the remains of Bint Al-Huda are buried, identified in Bismayah City. However, the city’s new development and map made it hard to identify the exact location. Authorities are working on pinpointing the exact location by referring to Baathist development plans.

Sadoun Sabri also confessed and described the role he played in carrying out the assassination of Ayatollah Muhammad Sadiq Al-Sadr and other Maraji’ and scholars in Howzat Al Najaf. He remained in charge of the Najaf branch until the fall of the regime. He was responsible for the murder of 25,000 Shia.

Today, confused and misled Sunnis, who are made to believe every tyrant as their hero, whether Hajjaj bin Yusuf, Saladin, or Saddam Hussein, should know who they were as per the Quran, not per sectarian beliefs. Saddam, who massacred a large population of Iraqi Shias as well as those Sunnis who opposed him, cannot be called a hero of the Islamic world.

It is your cruel and criminal mullahs, who are paid mercenaries, that teach you to believe and prioritize such massacres as your leaders and role models. Beware, the Day of Judgment is waiting:

“And every soul will be fully compensated [for] what it did; and He is most knowing of what they do.” (Quran 39:70)

Everyone will be interrogated for what they have done and whom they followed. There was a narrative in the past that those who larp and stage shows against the enemies of Islam are heroes. Then why not Imam Khomeini? Why not Imam Khamenei? Just because they are not from your sect?

It’s the biggest mistake our brethren have made and today we are witnessing the worst of that: when Palestine was left alone and only the resistance axis, strengthened by the Islamic Republic of Iran, is present there. Those who have Islamic ethics are understanding, and the rest fled from the scene.

Shaheed Ayatullah Baqir al-Sadr is considered the fifth martyr in Shia Islam and other sects of West Asia due to his contributions to the Shia faith and the Islamic ummah through his works and intellectual revolution in the region. The same goes for his sister, Syeda Amina Bint al-Huda. When she was on the verge of assassination, Saddam (may Allah burn his face) said, “I could let you survive; Yazid made a mistake by leaving alive the sisters of Imam Husayn (A).”

Today, Ayatullah Baqir al-Sadr is a living hero, a Marja, and an ideal considered by millions of Muslims, while Saddam rots in the garbage of Tikrit, known by nobody. When the remains of Syeda Amina Bint al-Huda are found, we will make her sanctuary and let it shine more and more.

The arrest of Sadoun Sabri took place, according to a security source, while he was entering the Kurdistan region to renew official documents in government departments. The source noted that Sabri previously held the position of director of the Fifth Division. The source added, “After investigating, gathering information, and careful follow-up, the entry of Saadoun Sabri, known as (Brigadier Nizar), a former director of the Fifth Division of the Military Intelligence Directorate, to Kurdistan, to renew his official documents, coming from his place of residence between the Emirates and Jordan.”

The security agencies informed the region’s anti-terrorism agency about the wanted criminal because he was on Kurdish territory. However, the region’s authorities delayed handing over the criminal, demanding that preliminary investigations be conducted on the territory of the Kurdistan region without handing him over to the security forces.

Military leaders connected to the Popular Mobilization Forces intervened to negotiate with the security and political leaders in the Kurdistan region to hand over the wanted criminal to the security services in Baghdad. After assigning a specialized Iraqi security apparatus, Saadoun Sabri Al-Qaisi (General Nizar) was arrested and brought to Baghdad under cover.

During initial investigations in Baghdad, he confessed to the crime of executing the martyr Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr and his sister, Amina Bint al-Huda. During the investigation, Brigadier General Nazzaz indicated that he carried out the crime jointly with former security personnel in the Fifth Division. During the stage of revealing evidence, the criminal pointed to the execution site of the martyr Al-Sadr and his sister, Amina Bint al-Huda, near the current residential city of Bismaya. However, due to changing urban features, the exact location has not been precisely determined.

They confirmed to Al-Akhbar that the training is in preparation for a potential full-scale war in the region, particularly after the escalation between the Lebanese Hezbollah and the zionist entity. This comes as a number of Iraqi factions declared their readiness to mobilize and enter a larger war to fight alongside Hezbollah.

The sources indicated that "the training of Iraqi faction fighters is not new, but it has been emphasized after the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, especially since new advanced weapons, missiles, and high-tech drones have arrived in Iraq from Iran and Russia, which require training to operate." They explained that "there are more than ten training camps in various cities across the country, focusing on two main tasks: the first is training regular fighters, and the second is training individuals under the supervision of Iranian military experts, aiming to prepare them comprehensively at the level of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard or Hezbollah cadres."

They added that "there are groups currently receiving training in Iran, which are about to graduate and return to Iraq, including members of the Popular Mobilization Forces, Kataeb Hezbollah, and the Al-Nujaba Movement," noting that "the training is not only military but also aims to prepare individuals capable of ideological and jihadist mobilization."
