The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, showed flexibility and positivity with the efforts of the mediators throughout all previous indirect negotiating rounds, leading up to the announcement of approval of the mediator brothers’ proposal on May 6th.
The occupation used these negotiations as a cover for the continuation of aggression and massacres against our Palestinian people, and responded to our positive position by invading the city of Rafah and occupying the crossing, and made remarks that lead to disrupting the efforts of the mediators.
The Hamas movement and the Palestinian factions will not accept to be part of this policy by continuing negotiations in light of aggression, killing, siege, starvation and genocide of our people.
