Peace be upon you and the mercy and blessings of Allah,
We received with sadness and sorrow the news of the passing of your late esteemed mother, Hajja Umm Hassan. May Allah have mercy on her and admit her into His spacious gardens with the martyrs, the truthful, and the righteous, and what an excellent company they are.
Women are known by those they have raised, and the mothers of the free resistors have indeed raised steadfast men who struggle for the truth. The late Umm Hassan raised and nurtured a man who walked the path of resistance until he became a distinguished leader and a shining symbol of it. Through his courage and insightful mind, he bestowed upon her dignity and strength. He is feared and trusted by enemies before friends. He worked to establish the foundations of truth and justice and to lift oppression from the oppressed. In doing so, Umm Hassan made a significant and rich contribution to the life of Lebanon, the region, and in enriching the purest noble moral ideals.
The loss of a mother remains the hardest of all losses, so please accept my sincerest condolences to you and your esteemed family. We ask Allah to shower her with His vast mercy and to bless you with abundant health, happiness, and success.
Indeed, to Allah we belong and to Him we shall return.
