Yesterday Lebanon, today Palestine.
Today, we commemorate Resistance and Liberation Day, when the resistance expelled the defeated zionist army from south Lebanon (except Shebaa Farms) after 15 years of occupation.

While Hezbollah led the armed resistance, they were supported by operations from Amal, LCP, and PIJ, mirroring unity seen in Palestine's resistance today.

Two days before liberation, Khiam prison was emptied by the resistance, a culmination of over 30,800 operations against the IOF and SLA over 18 years.

"Israel is weaker than a spider's web," said Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in his Victory Day speech, a fact our resistance proves again and again.

In 2000, Gazans celebrated the victory of their Lebanese siblings. Hezbollah flags flew across Palestine, as the Palestinians saw in the South what their future of liberation would look like.

Witnessing the victory of May 25th partly inspired the second intifada, sparked by Sharon's desecration of Al-Aqsa. Martyr Imad Mughniyeh formed the secret "Committee for the Elimination of 'israel'" after the 2000 liberation, working to provide full support for the growing, popular armed Palestinian resistance to manifest this future. Mughniyeh was close with PIJ Secretary-General Ramadan Shallah, and Arafat told Mughniyeh that the intifada was near. It was Mughniyeh and Hajj Qassem Soleimani that coordinated the shipment of $15 million worth of weapons via Karine A.

Years later, the glorious October 7th was a glimpse of the temporary zionist entity and the resistance's persistence, collapsing the entire Gaza Division and confusing the immobilized zionists. We remember the scenes of joy on this glorious day, scenes that mirror the liberation of southern Lebanon.

Then and now, Hezbollah supported our uprising, executing about 2,000 operations in support of Gaza since October 8th, when the Martyr Hajj Imad Mughniyeh groups mobilized.

• Detonated a booby-trapped house on a special Zionist force next to the Habboub building in Jabalia camp, leaving its members dead and wounded.
• Detonated a Ra’adiya explosive device against a force of Zionist soldiers near the entrance of a tunnel, east of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip, leaving them dead and wounded.
• Targeted a Merkava-4 tank behind the Abu Zeitoun schools and another at the Al-Burai junction in the Jabalia camp, north of the Gaza Strip, with Al-Yassin 105 shells.

Brother fighter Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas, sent a condolence message to His Eminence Syed Hassan Nasrallah (H); the Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, expressing his condolences on the passing of his late mother, may Allah have mercy on her.

In his message, the head of the movement said: "With great sorrow, along with acceptance and satisfaction with the will of Allah and His decree, we received the news of the passing of your honorable mother, Umm Hassan Nasrallah, the wife of the honorable Mr. Abdul Karim Nasrallah – may Allah have mercy on her and envelop her in His forgiveness. We extend our condolences and sympathy to Your Eminence, at a time when our people in Lebanon are standing in solidarity with their brothers in Palestine, supporting their resistance with courage and bravery in the Al-Aqsa Flood battle, embodying the true meanings of brotherhood and solidarity, indicating the unity of the resistance fronts and the consolidation of the character of the Axis of Resistance.
