🟡 Update | This morning (17th May 2024) started with the new Escalation: Hezbollah Drone Attacks in Western Galilee.

Over 50 alarms were activated in the early morning hours in various settlements in the Western Galilee following a suicide drone attack by Hezbollah. IOF warplanes are attempting to intercept drones in Nahariya in northwestern occupied Palestine, where several explosions were reported.

For the sixth time in 20 minutes, sirens rang in settlements in northwestern occupied Palestine due to fears of drone infiltration. This morning, Hezbollah forced hundreds of thousands into shelters with its drones, particularly in areas that had not been evacuated.

Not every news is truly newsworthy, and not every sensitive issue is genuinely sensitive. It all depends on human reactions, which we see play out on social media. Today, much like yesterday, we witness the same, if not heightened, responses.

In our so-called 21st century, a time that imagined living on Mars or finding ways to run electric or hydrogen cars, we are witnessing a genocide reminiscent of those in the past. Modern technologies and developments have no connection to the advancement of human values. The day Islam was sidelined, much like true Judaism and Christianity, the battle between falsehood and truth began. It was never about human vs. human, but rather about manipulated religion vs. genuine faith.

Zionist forms of religion were promoted, while the older, true forms were labeled as backward or weak. As a result, we see the ongoing genocide, with daily bombings shattering Gaza.

It needs no further explanation. If someone is killing you, you have to resist, take up arms, and fight. All these theories from Noam Chomsky, George Galloway, Hinkle, Tate, and others, all the books and posters, are just a thin film that might give you something, but it’s not a shield.

The real shield is the iron mentioned in the Quran. Fight when you know how to use weapons to stop oppression. And when choices run out, you must be prepared to make great sacrifices.

Muslims who reject everything Shias say should read history and understand that within 80 years after Prophet Muhammad, almost 45,000 members of his family were killed by the oppressors of the Umayyads and Abbasids. What was their fault? They stood against tyranny and oppression.

Absolutely, someone who didn’t take Karbala and the massacre of Ahlulbayt seriously has no right to take today’s oppression seriously either. We have witnessed how thousands of Muslims save themselves from Palestinian issues.

We still call and invite all Muslims to understand that Hajj and Zakat are not the final goals but the starting points of Islam. The ultimate goal of Islam is to establish a system of social justice and implement Shari’ah. How? Is it by following Zakir Naik’s invitation to join NATO or Erdogan’s treacherous plans to join NATO or any other alliance with the enemies of Islam?

Imam Husayn (a) was left alone in the fields of Hijaz, and today, when you see the oppression at its height, at least acknowledge what Imam Husayn (a) suffered and what we have done to him. Only then can we address other grounds of oppression.

Nothing has changed. It’s not Gandhi’s “do or die,” but more like Imam Husayn’s call to “live with honor, and if not given, die with honor but never accept humiliation.”
