A security source told the Yemeni News Agency SABA that these spies were recruited to gather information and monitor locations belonging to the Yemeni Armed Forces in western Yemen for the benefit of the American and "israeli" enemy.
The Security Forces confirmed that those arrested confessed to carrying out intelligence tasks assigned to them after being recruited, the most prominent of which was monitoring missile launch sites, drone sites, and naval vessels, and relaying their coordinates to their operators in "Force 400" for the purpose of targeting them by American and British aircraft. These strikes resulted in a number of martyrs and wounded, as well as material losses. The spies' confessions will be published this afternoon.
"Among the tasks assigned to the spies, according to their confessions, were criminal and sabotage operations that involved disabling and burning vehicles belonging to the Armed Forces and security, and preparing to carry out assassinations using silenced pistols and explosives to distract the Armed Forces from facing the evil trio of America, Britain, and 'israel,' and supporting the besieged Palestinian people. They also attempted to strike at the internal front and destabilize the free areas in service of the American and 'israeli' enemy through these sabotage and criminal operations."
