The resistance's direct targeting of a military base in "Kerem Shalom" was carried out with at least 10 shells, which resulted in at least 10 injuries among IOF soldiers, including 3 dead and 4 critical injuries.

"Hamas's response to the exchange deal proposal is dead soldiers at the 'Kerem Shalom' site."

Security and field sources for Al-Aqsa TV stated that confirmed information from the resistance reports at least 3 deaths and around 10 moderate to severe injuries.

According to the information, the operation targeted a recently established zionist command post east of the "Kerem Shalom" military site, aimed at managing bombing operations that targeted the Rafah governorate two weeks ago and planning the Rafah operation, including officers from the Shin Bet and zionist generals.

Occupation forces left the injured and dead at the site without intervention for about an entire hour due to the ongoing policy of sporadic bombing, which was adopted by the operational plan and is continuing as of 2:40 PM.

🟢 Attached is a video previously released by Al-Qassam Brigades of the Rajoom short-range 114mm rocket system.

The system has recently seen a resurgence in use, after being used for the first time as cover fire for resistance fighters invading the Gaza envelope last October.

Last week, it was used for the first time since December 2023 in a pre-emptive abortive attack by the resistance on the IOF, targeting the "Holit" settlement near Rafah, 2km from the Gaza Strip. Al-Qassam Brigades targeted enemy gatherings there on May 1st with Rajoom and its military media released a video of the operation.

The operation targeted IOF gatherings mobilizing to invade Rafah, sending a message that they would be committing a grave mistake if they tried.

Today, the Rajoom system was used again to target an IOF military base at "Kerem Shalom," killing and wounding at least 10 IOF soldiers.

The system is comprised of a launcher that fires 15 144mm rockets, each weighing 18kg with 3 kg warheads. While it has high destructive capacity, it is limited in range and accuracy, able to hit targets 8.5 to 22 km away.
