A leadership meeting that includes leaders of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front.
In light of the rapid field and political developments in the Palestinian cause and the aggressive war on the Gaza Strip, the leaders of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Popular Front held an important meeting, including Ismail Haniyeh, Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas; Jamil Mezher, Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front; and Dr. Mohammad Al-Hindi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Islamic Jihad Movement, along with a number of leaders from the three forces.
The attendees praised the legendary steadfastness, solid will, and determination of the Palestinian people which has proven to the world that it is invincible, unbreakable, and never submissive, despite facing a genocidal war by the criminal enemy.
The meeting discussed the efforts being made to stop the aggression and achieve a full and immediate withdrawal, the release of the heroic prisoners, and ways to alleviate the suffering of our people and enhance the steadfastness of the internal front against the arrogance and racism of the occupation.
The attendees emphasized the need to develop national and field work to thwart the occupation's plans and achieve our people's goals and aspirations for freedom, independence, and return.
The attendees praised the courageous heroic performance of all the resistance brigades and their field unity, especially the Al-Qassam Brigades, Saraya Al-Quds, Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, and other resistance brigades that have given and continue to give the enemy a lesson it will never forget. They presented the world with a new model in conflict management and their insistence on continuing to confront the aggression.
The meeting also discussed the necessity of national communication to enhance the unity of the Palestinian people, and use this legendary steadfastness positively to impact the structure of the inclusive Palestinian national institution, and on the leadership and tools of the political system and joint Palestinian national action.
The attendees extended their greetings to our people in steadfast Gaza, Al-Quds, the occupied West Bank, the 1948 occupied territories, and to our people in the diaspora.
The meeting also focused on the conditions of prisoners in occupation jails, affirming our people’s demand for reaching a serious and honorable exchange deal.
The attendees lauded the role of the Arab masses supporting our people’s struggle and the free people in cities and capitals around the world, and in universities, who have risen to support our people and the justice of our cause, and to defend humanity against the horrific genocide conducted by the global colonial system.
The attendees also extended a salute of pride to the supporting resistance fronts, from Lebanon to Yemen, and from Syria and Iraq to Iran, in their determination to deter the aggression against our people.
It was agreed to continue and expand consultations with other Palestinian factions both internally and abroad.

After a temporary ceasefire; after a long, yesterday (26 April), today (27 April) saw least clashes and battles on all fronts.
Hezbollah conducted only two operations yesterday and three today, while Palestinian forces executed only five operations.
This increase in activity can be attributed to several factors. Firstly, the IOF are likely preparing for engagements in the north and Rafah. Many IOF units have withdrawn from various fronts in Gaza and are regrouping near Rafah, with others moving northward, facing potential conflict with Hezbollah.
Secondly, the IOF's significant failures in Gaza have contributed to this shift. The presence and bravery of Yahya Sinwar (H), who visited the battleground, met with key commanders, and then returned, have rattled the IOF.
Lastly, there is speculation about Netanyahu’s fear. Global protests and the fear of international arrest warrants may be influencing his decisions.
While the last reason remains uncertain, it is certainly a factor to consider.
