Welcome to 2025! The year where presumption of guilt was taken to the next level, thanks to AI.
The crazy thing is that not only the strike/appeal system is controlled by AI, but «pattern recognition» was entirely handed to it as well.
The kind of false positives causing irreversible damage to channels are now completely normal and there's nothing you can do about it.
I knew when to bail out, and I knew being a YouTuber is a poor job choice. My livelihood is not at risk, but this is on many levels fucked up.

The termination of my YouTube channel brought to light some recently relevant topics like YouTube's double standards, AI moderation, alternative platforms and MCNs.
I joined Brodie Robertson to talk about my experience during termination, and shared some thoughts on YouTube's future.
