— As of September 1, Russian bookmakers began placing warnings about the risks of gambling addiction and information about financial services on the main pages of their websites.

— From the same date, digital ruble transactions became available in the TsUPIS Wallet. For players, they are currently commission-free.

— This fall, Russia may adopt a bill completely banning the promotion of online casinos — including posts, streams, and the distribution of information in any form.

📌New Rules Across Different GEOs

— New Zealand authorities received 50 applications for iGaming licenses, but only 15 operators will be allowed to enter the market.

— Botswana plans to lower the minimum gambling age from 21 to 18. The document is awaiting the president's signature.

— How could age verification change the iGaming market?

— In Azerbaijan, repeat participation in gambling can now result in up to 15 days of administrative detention. The relevant document has already been signed by the president.

📌Choosing Where to Drive Traffic

— Football and cricket have become the most popular betting categories in the UAE. At the moment, the country's only licensed operator accepting bets is Play971.

📌New Promotion Opportunities

— OpenAI has launched ChatGPT Ads in the Netherlands, but gambling advertising is not currently being placed. The company says the eligibility criteria could be expanded in the future.

📌AI Is Already Costing Casinos Money

— Asian casinos lose around $500–700 million annually because of players using AI for card counting.
