๐Ÿ“Œ Regulators Are Tightening Requirements

โ€” Bulgaria is introducing mandatory licenses for iGaming affiliates for the first time. Companies that acquire players for compensation had to submit their applications by August 15.

โ€” Australia is considering a unified mechanism that would allow users to opt out of betting advertising on online platforms. The system is proposed to be funded through a new levy on operators.

โ€” Spain plans to fund a new anti-money laundering authority through a separate levy on banks and gambling companies.

๐Ÿ“Œ What the Numbers Show

โ€” During the first six months of 2026, Armenia's gambling market reached $396.7 million in turnover, up 5.2% year over year.

From engineering and cybersecurity to leading SEON's business across the Asia-Pacific region. In the latest episode of iGaming Heroes, Nyi Nyi Troy discusses how fraud is evolving, why a team of analysts alone is no longer enough, and why operators, regulators, and payment providers need to learn to work together.

๐Ÿ”น Why trust and fraud prevention are not opposites: 2% problematic users versus 98% legitimate ones
