Dear fellow medical students,

I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the position of Vice President of Activities at EMSA ECUSTA. My diverse experiences and skills have uniquely prepared me for this role, and I am eager to contribute to the EMSA ECUSTA's continued success.

I have worked as the Secretary for SCORA ECUSTA and took leadership positions in my high school Red Cross Club, where I served as Vice President in my junior year and President in my senior year, and head of the sponsorship committee. Through these experiences I have acquired valuable skills and insights. My time at ECUSTA, particularly organizing three successful blood drives with over 30 regular donors, has further honed my event organization and coordination abilities.

My experience with SCORA and the Red Cross Club has equipped me to manage complex activities, foster teamwork, and maintain high standards of efficiency and effectiveness. I excel at multitasking, problem-solving, and ensuring that all activities align with the strategic goals of the organization.

During my term, I am committed to dedicating my time and energy to:

Designing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): I will develop clear and measurable KPIs to track the performance and impact of all activities. These KPIs will ensure our efforts are aligned with our mission and objectives, providing a tangible way to measure success.

Designing Report Filing Templates for Committees: To streamline communication and documentation, I will create standardized report filing templates for all committees. This will enhance transparency, improve record-keeping, and facilitate better decision-making.

Establishing Feedback Loops: I plan to implement robust feedback mechanisms to continuously assess the effectiveness of our activities. Regular feedback from participants and committee members will be used to refine our approaches and ensure we meet the needs and expectations of our community.

I am committed to bringing a high level of organization, creativity, and strategic thinking to the role of Vice President of Activities. Vote🗳 Henok Mesfin for Vice President of Activities!
With your support, I am confident that we can achieve great things together and continue to advance the mission of EMSA ECUSTA.

Dear EMSA  ECUSTA Family,

I am Ezana Getahun, a 4th-year clinical student who is ready to take all of us to the next stage of EMSA’s success by creating an effective plan to achieve all of EMSA’s goals. I am motivated and dedicated to see us go higher together.

Programs such as Model UN(AIS MUN), hosting and organizing various charity activities and carnivals have thought me a valuable lesson: planning is essential. Furthermore I have developed skills through participating in various trainings and have acquired the valuable experience I need to be effective as the VP of Activities

I will work to the best of my abilities to help EMSA ECUSTA achieve its goals
The strategy I intend to use is simple yet brilliant in that it doesn’t fail. This strategy includes identifying or organizing EMSA ECUSTA’s activity inputs, outputs and collecting results and/or reports from other EMSA officials. With this method not only can EMSA stay on track while it strives for more opportunities and levels of success but also aid and assist EMSA ECUSTA know where it’s at and where it’s heading!

Together, I am convinced we can all see the manifestation of EMSA ECUSTA great attributes at a higher level of success.

I request your vote to serve you as your VP of Activities with all due humility. I am convinced that we can ensure EMSA ECUSTA is well equipped and achieves its goals!

Best regards,
Ezana Getahun

Greetings EMSA ECUSTA family,
My name is Rebecca Abraham and I am currently PC1 student and a representative of my class for 2 years.
As part of the EMSA family I will be dedicated in playing my part in the development and implementation of EMSA’s promotion strategies and introduce different agendas of EMSA through the different social media platforms. I will be working on the management of promotional materials and assist and monitor our publications. Further more, I will be coordinating online communication channels.
I had an experience of working well with others and I am entitled to bring our team to its full potential.
I had an opportunity to be a member of a Rotract Club (Rotract Club of Abocher). I was a treasure of the club for two years. We had many projects in line, among one was ENE LEMAYE PROJECT in which we were able to help mothers with very difficult health condition, low to none financial income, no relatives or support and etc. To this day on I am very satisfied in investing our time, money, cloth and etc and made a little difference in their life.
I would like to be a member of this family and dedicate my self to flourish us and enjoy the experience I will have with family.
Thank you for this chance

Grettings Every one, I’m Feven Nega, a year 2 preclinical student and I am thrilled to declare my candidacy for the position of Finance Officer for the Ethiopian Medical Students’ Association (EMSA) at ECUSTA.
On my academic journey, I have always looked for ways to acquire skills and knowledge that would be helpful for me when contributing my part to EMSA. I worked as a member of an organisation called EMSA Bahirdar where I was able to learn first-hand how organizations function in addition to realizing the significance of handling finances responsibly.
Also, being in charge of money matters in high school clubs such as Charity club where I served as a Finance Director among others gave me exposure on how to manage resources effectively even if they are few. The experience taught me that it is important to plan financially and allocate funds strategically so as to achieve maximum impact. However, my interest in financial management is not only based on the practical experience that I have gained over time. Apart from that, I have also widened my knowledge scope through taking leadership and marketing management classes which have helped me to appreciate the value of communication and planning when it comes to attaining financial objectives.
My vision for EMSA’s finances is one of stability and growth. I plan to achieve this by:
Implementing a transparent budgeting system: This will ensure everyone in EMSA understands how our finances are allocated and empowers informed decision-making.
Developing a sustainable fundraising strategy: By exploring various fundraising avenues, we can secure a consistent flow of income to support EMSA’s initiatives.
Optimizing resource allocation: I will work closely with EMSA leadership to ensure our resources are directed towards projects that deliver the most value to our members.

I'm not just passionate about finance; I'm passionate about EMSA and its mission. I believe my unique blend of experience, knowledge, and dedication makes me the ideal candidate to lead EMSA's financial future.

By voting for me, you're not just choosing a finance officer; you're choosing a leader who is committed to ensuring EMSA has the resources it needs to thrive and empower its members.

Together, let's build a financially secure EMSA that can continue to support our academic and professional development.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Vote Feven Nega for Vice President of Finance!
