🤱 Celebrating Breastfeeding Awareness Week! Our SCORA-ECUSTA team came together at Gandhi Memorial Hospital to raise awareness about the importance, benefits, precautions, and challenges regarding breastfeeding among mothers and expectant mothers.
💫 Our Community Outreach Group from C-II, alongside SCORA-ECUSTA officials, shared መረጃ (Mereja) by distributing informative brochures and tri-folds, making a positive impact on the lives of mothers.
መረጃ (Mereja): Breastfeeding was printed in Amharic and afaan oromo languages and shared with mothers and expectant mothers at Gandhi Memorial Hospital. The digital version of መረጃ will be released soon!
😇 The happiness and gratitude expressed by both mothers and doctors at Gandhi Memorial Hospital reflect our success.

If you have any clothes that you no longer need, please consider donating them to this worthy cause. You can bring your donations to campus from Monday to Friday, and you'll find a donation box in each classroom.
🥳By donating your clothes to Zewditu meshesha orphanage, you can help provide children with the basic necessities that they need to thrive.
Your donation can help keep a child warm during the cold Summer months, and it can help them feel more confident and secure.

SCORA-ECUSTA is delighted to announce the launch of two new initiatives: Project LeHullu and Project Lesua, scheduled to be launched on September 1 and November 25 respectively.
✨ LeHullu is a membership-driven initiative that aims to make menstrual hygiene products accessible and available to everyone. This initiative plans to organize a monthly menstrual products drive with the help of members who join the initiative and donate to women in need.

✨ Lesua is a project focused on empowering young women, aged 9-18, by educating them about gender-based violence (GBV) and sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). The project will include various programs designed to enhance their skills and capacities.

Your unwavering support during our June hike and generous cloth donations made today possible as we donated medications, provided clothing, and conducted an impactful awareness session on Scabies and tinea infections.
Witnessing the smiles on the children's faces and the positive change we initiated together was truly inspiring.
Thank you for your unwavering support and for being the driving force behind this incredible journey! 🙌

🎉 SCORP ECUSTA is thrilled to announce that we have successfully donated medication and clothes to the Zewditu Meshesha organization. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all the SCORPs in Addis Abeba specially to SCORP-AA and SCORP-Lorcan who made this donation possible, as well as to all those who donated their clothes and fundraised for the orphanage.
We are proud to have contributed in our own way to the betterment of the lives of the children at the orphanage and hope that our donation will bring them some relief.
In addition, to the donation, we also took the opportunity to raise awareness about different skin diseases that are easily transmitted. We believe that raising awareness about such issues is key to preventing their spread and ensuring the health and wellbeing of everyone in the community.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to this cause. Your generosity and kindness will not be forgotten.
