🗓 We are delighted to host three fabulous research exchange students for the month of August - Gerasimos Kouloudis from Greece🇬🇷, Juman Bacha from Germany🇩🇪 and Camilla Felicita Pasquetti from Italy🇮🇹.
📚 They have started their first week by attending our LCs CB fest and continued on to explore our classes and clinical teaching environment.
🔍 They will further explore the research world in the field of medicine here at TASH and EPHI in the remaining weeks.
☺️ We would like to say "Welcome to our country and more so to our university!" on behalf of the SCORE team and all of EMSA. We hope you have a wonderful experience while you stay here with us!

In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, SCORA-AA held a community outreach program on August 20th as part of SCORA Ethiopia’s nationwide awareness campaign. 🤱
The event took place at Tikur Anbessa Specialized Hospital, where new and expectant mothers received health education on breastfeeding. Guided by the Project Mereja brochure, our outreach team shared clear and practical information on the benefits of breastfeeding for both mother and child, key breastfeeding practices, proper positioning techniques, and strategies to overcome common challenges.
SCORA-AA extends heartfelt appreciation to all who took part through active engagement in the outreach.

🤔 You might wonder what our exchange students do when they come here. Well, they are here
for research observership and shadowing. They get to experience research in Ethiopia, specifically research in medicine.
👨🏫 The first two weeks of this month, our exchange students had a few sessions at EPHI, visited the facilities and some even shadowed a research with the title "Carbapenem Resistant Enterobactericeae" - which was a great opportunity.
🙏We would like to express our warmest gratitude to Mr. Feyisa - Director of the laboratory unit at EPHI, Mr. Zeleke and Mrs. Etsehiwot - the researchers, Mr. Nega - department head, Mrs. Firehiwot and many more who helped us have an amazing experience at EPHI.
🙌 As always, we hope our students have a wonderful time this month.
