Meet Dr. Tesfaye Telila and Dr. Obsinet Merid, an Ethiopian-American power couple on a mission to save lives. 🇪🇹❤️

Dr. Tesfaye, an interventional cardiologist, and Dr. Obsinet, an internist and CEO of Heart Attack Ethiopia, co-founded the nonprofit to tackle Ethiopia’s critical shortage of cardiac care. With fewer than five cardiac surgeons for over 120 million people, their organization has become a beacon of hope. ✨🏥

Since its inception, they’ve:

💚Performed over 120 life-saving procedures 💉❤️, including open-heart surgeries and pacemaker implants.

💚Conducted three mission trips 🌍🤝, working closely with local hospitals.

💚Trained healthcare professionals 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ to build sustainable cardiac care infrastructure.

💚Delivered over $2 million in medical supplies 📦💊 to support the healthcare system.
