π Born in 1954, he left his engineering career to fight against child exploitation. In 1980, he founded Bachpan Bachao Andolan (Save Childhood Movement), which has rescued over 100,000 children from slavery and forced labor.
πIn 2014, he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize, alongside Malala Yousafzai, for his tireless work in protecting children's rights.
π£"There is no greater violence than to deny the dreams of our children"
