๐๐ His deep commitment to treating the underserved earned him the Nobel Peace Prize in 1952.

๐Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer among women worldwide, with about 569,847 new cases diagnosed and over 311,000 deaths every year. The majority of cases (over 80%) in sub-Saharan Africa are detected at a late stage, predominantly due to lack of information about cervical cancer and scarcity of prevention services.
๐Who is at Risk?
Several factors can increase the risk of developing cervical cancer:

๐บMultiple sexual partners
๐บHistory of sexually transmitted infection
๐บLow socioeconomic status
๐บCigarette smoking
