In our trip to Entoto Natural park:
💥 we will give health education on Non communicable deases using flyers and do screening as well.
💥Not only we do community service but also we will have fun in the breathtaking environment of Entoto. We have prepared games, discussions and prizes for winners.
💥 We will also provide:- roundtrip transportation to and from the park, water and snacks

🌳🌳The article indicates that Nature-based interventions( NBIs) that support people to engage with nature in a structured way are asset-based solutions to improve mental health for community based adults.
🏕NBIs, specifically gardening, green exercise and nature-based therapy, are effective for improving mental health outcomes in adults, including those with pre-existing mental health problems.
🌿Nature connectedness concerns an individual’s trait level of emotional connection with natural world and individuals with great nature connectedness have great sense of eudaimonic wellbeing which is associated with personal growth and purposeful behavior.
And 🪴gardening has been identified as an activity that can confer a sense of purpose and meaning to individuals.
So any time you feel depressed 😞or anxious😬 try to connect with nature.

SCOPH-AA in collaboration with other local chapters in Addis Ababa held a grand Trip to Entoto Natural park.
We are still trying to process how our trip to Entoto Natural Park became successful!!! It was more interesting and productive than we anticipated.
Health promotion activities were done using the social media accounts of more than 50 students. We have done aerobics together!! Games full of fun were played. we have also noticed there are people who could run well😁
The hiking is also unforgettable. The friendship created and the interactions taking place made us forget we walked that far.
Dear participants of the trip, as SCOPH officials in local chapters in Addis Ababa, we couldn't ask for a better team than you. You guys were the best!!!
