Our volunteers have made us proud!
The Mekedonia project has been completed successfully.
The project, which started with opening remarks from Professor Andualem Deneke, Chief executive director of AAU CHS, ended with a blessing from the elderly.
Mekedonia is helping more than 7,500 elderly and mentally ill people. We were able to witness the immense need for medical help in the organisation. We are pleased to have participated in a project that provided free medical and screening services for about 2000 people in Mekedonia.
We would love to thank our volunteers for making this happen. If it hadn't been for them, we couldn't have had this success.
We also love to thank Tikur Anbesa for giving us the chance to participate in this grand project.
SCOPH-AA will be bringing more opportunities to you. Stay tuned.

πSCORP Mental health team in collaboration with psychiatry residents and Tikur Anbessa OPD are planning to organize a free Mental health counselling and therapy session for medical students.
πWe know there are a lot of constraints, stigma and confidentiality issues involved in seeking medical support when it comes to mental health. Due to that we are going to make sure your anonymity is kept while recieving any form of help.

β¨From captivating health screenings that could potentially save lives, to embarking on a mission to break records with monumental blood donations,we are leaving no stone unturned!
Our Hospital needs your support to replenish our blood supply for hematologic cancer and other patients in need. This is a chance for those who have experienced the immense gift of donated blood, and have witnessed firsthand how it saves lives, to come forward and repay that debt of gratitude. Join us on Tuesday and experience the joy of giving back to our community.
β¨So far we have accomplished remarkeable milestones, such as providing vital medical services to over 2000 individuals at Mekedonia Home for the elderly and mentally ill, as well as over 400 individuals at Meseret Humanitarian Organization. And currently on going screening at TASH.
β¨Aside from seeing the joy in the faces of young kids as they are surrounded by people who they aspire to be, to hearing the blessing of the elderly, our sponsors have also been very pleased as they were able to showcase their products and services from their exhibition sites.
We would like to continue sharing our gratitude to them as they have helped, and are continuing to help, us make this event as grand as possible.
β¨Now, we are gearing up for our next milestone: organizing a grand blood donation campaign on Tuesday, August 29!
