β¨Our first part of α₯αΊ αα α summer volunteering program at Meseret Humanitarian Organization was an absolute success! ππ
β¨Lots of lives were touched as we conducted screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, ophthalmic, dermatologic cases, free medical service from different departments including family medicine pediatrics, dentistry,gynecology and Lab investigations.
β¨The selfless dedication and skills of our volunteers were truly commendable. Their passion for serving the community shone through in every interaction, providing essential healthcare services to those in need.
β¨We extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers who generously offered their time and skills. Your compassionate spirit and commitment to making a difference are exemplary.
β¨But this isn't all, Join us in our upcoming volunteer activities by saying YES to a good cause!

β¨After the immense success of our first screening program, SCOPH-AA is thrilled to present you the much-anticipated Mekedonia project as part two of this summer program. It's time to continue the transformative journey we began,and we need YOU to be a part of this incredible experience!
β¨In this part we will be doing a three-day screening program where we aim to reach out and touch the lives of not just a hundred or a thousand, but a staggering 2000 people in need! Epic isn't it?
β¨Over the course of three days, we will be delving into the lives of 2000 individuals, offering them Health screenings, medical services , comfort, and a chance for a better future.
πVolunteers can serve on day of their preferences.
πWe've spots for 5 pre-clinical and 20 C1 and above students for each day,a total of 75 Volunteers.
πDeadline: August 15, 12:00 LT evening

The history of modern medicine is replete with significant discoveries, but few are as accessible and impactful as Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). Brought to life in the mid-20th century by Dr. Peter Safar and Dr. James Elam, this life-saving technique was born out of tragedy and nurtured by innovative thinking. Safar, often called the father of CPR, was inspired to develop methods to preserve life in the critical moments following a traumatic event after losing his daughter to an acute asthma attack. Working alongside Elam, who proved expired air was sufficient for oxygenation, they devised the ABC (Airway, Breathing, Circulation) method, the foundation of modern CPR.
