Before the 20th century, regulations did not require manufacturers of ready-made remedies to list ingredients in their medicines. Perhaps taking advantage of the popularity of the drug, Lloyd Manufacturing did advertise the cocaine in their toothache drops. The promised instantaneous relief was likely provided by the anesthetic properties of cocaine.
All Over Albany cited a Brooklyn Union article that described a method of using cocaine to numb pain in dental procedures. According to the article, teeth could be drawn and nerves removed with little or no pain.
In the early 1900s, cocaineโs drawbacks started to make the rounds, and novocaine became the preferred local anesthetic, instead.

๐ซTo make this happen we need YOU! We are looking for 8 committed volunteers from C1 and above to join us on this noble cause. This is your chance to make a real impact and be part of something truly special.

โจLots of lives were touched as we conducted screenings for blood pressure, blood glucose, ophthalmic, dermatologic cases, free medical service from different departments including family medicine pediatrics, dentistry,gynecology and Lab investigations.
โจThe selfless dedication and skills of our volunteers were truly commendable. Their passion for serving the community shone through in every interaction, providing essential healthcare services to those in need.
โจWe extend a heartfelt thank you to our amazing volunteers who generously offered their time and skills. Your compassionate spirit and commitment to making a difference are exemplary.
