Experience sharing and training with EMSA AA

Wednesday April 12/2023

πŸ”ΉSCOPE_ research wing team had the opportunity to begin their first-ever research exchange training, and it proved to be an enlightening and enriching experience. Our trainer, Abigael Abiy, guided us through the basics of research, and we are grateful for her expertise.

πŸ”ΉDuring the program, we learned about various aspects of research such as its importance, different research methods, and how to analyze data............ Abigael shared valuable insights and feedback that helped us understand these concepts better.

πŸ”ΉWe extend our heartfelt appreciation to Abigael Abiy for her priceless guidance and support, and we are excited to apply the knowledge we gained during the program to our upcoming research projects.

Dear EMSA Exchange enthusiasts

We are more than happy to give you the warmest welcome to the EMSA Ethiopia 8th General Assembly SCOPE Sessions! This GA is special because this GA is the first hybrid GA in EMSA history! We would have loved to be with all of you sharing knowledge and experiences in a physical setting. Nevertheless, the SCOPE Sessions Team is working hard to ensure that you have a memorable experience during our GA!

By hosting an online meeting, we are able to diminish the economic barriers that have previously prevented members from attending the event. Our purpose is to open up a space for all of us to improve our exchanges, for our Standing Committee and SCOPE family.

Taken from The Temple (1633), George Hebert's Easter is a poem about Christ's resurrection.

In the opening stanza, Herbert instructs his heart, and by extension, his soul, to rise and sing in praise of the Resurrection. He reminds his heart of the importance of the sacrifice and its meaning, emphasising that it is through it that salvation and bounty may be gained.

The poet then moves on to his lute, a type of stringed musical instrument, exhorting it to join in the laudation just as his heart is doing.

Herbert concludes with an entreaty to God, humbly asking Him to lend His blessed spirit to correct the imperfections and flaws that the heart and lute, when working without it, might produce.
